Kudos to the coaching staff, strength and conditioning and of course Myles himself for his development. Absolutely dominant.
Even more kudos to Pike for finding Myles in the first place then smartly redshirting Myles and allowing him to develop. The next 2 years he will only get better and better and it’s gonna be fun to watch.

The announcers and the BTN post game show couldn’t stop talking about him. Good for him!

the best comment of the night was where I think Shon Morris (game announcer) said at one point the Ivies were his only offers and stated ‘can you imagine him playing in the Ivy League, it would be criminal and not right’ (something to that effect).

I’ve said it early and often since last year, Myles will be the best center RU has had since Jammin’ James Bailey! Hopefully he has now earned the respect from the zebras.
I think Hinson was better than Bailey...Miles is going to better than both

Another thought that just came to mind: A dominant Myles can make this team even more attractive for Cliff Omuruyi to come here. If he knows that a big man can thrive here and they can make each other better, RU can definitely contend for his services.

I was too young to compare Hinson and Bailey (saw both), but as this is only Miles Sophomore year, hell yes. He is already dominant

I think Hinson was better than Bailey...Miles is going to better than both

Different players, but both great. Bailey was better offensively and running the floor, but Roy was better defensively. The day after Myles's first game last year, I posted that "Myles is ready to grow into the best big man we've had on the Banks in at least 20 years, if not since Hinson. Maybe a little early for such a bold prediction, as I'm sure he'll have some clunkers as a youngster and may struggle against better competition, but at the very least, he's going to be a very good one and certainly better than most of the big men we've had in the lean years since Waters. Love his potential." Probably my most prescient post ever. Just love this kid. If he could shoot FTs, I think he'd be a first rounder after next year.

I loved both Hinson and Bailey. I got to see Hinson play live my freshman year. I’d give Roy the nod on Defense, but either way I agree that Myles has the potential to be better than both.

Bailey takes a back seat to none of them and was strong. Had a nice nba career. Myles is so consistant, same numbers every night. Cant wait to see him vs the top B10 big men. This season will exceed most expectations for this team, watch. I also believe we have a few players with high ceilings (paul, harper, montez) that can only get better. Wow

Man did he talk fast
I was going to mention that also...not just myles, but most of kids talk like the rac is on fire....must be being pumped up, and excited.....hey, if he keeps playing like he's been playing. speed talking will be the new big thing on social media.
what also bugs me is when they interview a wrestler the second the match is over...the kid can't catch his breath, and the yahoo keeps him
talking....let him breath first....then the interview.

Watkins last four games

22-29 from the field

10 rebounds/ game

3 blocks/ game
We could be in for an epic battle between Myles and Watkins. Myles has to avoid fouling Watkins, who is a very good foul shooter. Carter and Doucore may have to step up.

You guys who say Myles can be better than Bailey never saw Bailey. The guy was 6’9 240 and could jump through the roof along with having a 15 foot jump shot. He was the most athletic guy his size in the country while also being highly skilled. Go back and check his records before spouting such silliness. I love Myles but he ain’t gonna be no Bailey.
