Only 4 Wisconsin players scored. That's something. And the change in FG% in the 4th quarter - RU at its highest of the game at 47.6% and Wisky at its lowest at 20% - is remarkable.

That was a close game, Iowa always a tough team to beat. A win is a win. Now, it's the 31st at home.

Arella finished w 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals most in clutch time !. She is a possible All American. KK came thru with 11 , T Baby w 17.

The trick that C Viv pulled was removing all our slow footed big players, and going to 4 guards and a forward.

Arella and T played all 40 minutes. KK 36. Those 3 are the heart and soul of this team.

Abro, not being able to actually watch the game on TV, did we deserve all those fouls?

Looks like only four RU players had more than one bucket

Yes, for the most part, when you play high pressure '55' and doubling teaming, trying to steal the ball, you pick up fouls. But you know what.... it wore down Wisconsin both physically and mentally. PLUS, it pumped up our team to put on even more pressure. It's a sight to behold !

For Indiana this Tuesday, New Years Eve, a bunch of us are hitting River Road Tavern around 11 am, for the 3pm tip off, they are having a special on Dec 31....$10, all the Pabst and Beef Jerky you can consume for 3 hours. Then getting to the RAC for the Champagne New Year Eve special .

We are looking to get pics with C Viv and maybe Arella and T Baby after the game.

The Women made 9 of 10 from the line. The Men don't shoot anywhere near that. It will cost them some games.

Refs total job. 31 free throws to 6 before garbage time?? Came back to bite Wisconsin (I thought) as they only had 3 fouls when they needed to stop the clock in the 4th with 11 seconds left. However the clock operator was in on it as well, as somehow we managed to run 2 inbounds plays and only use 0.5 and 0.3 seconds, as Wisconsin had us from 3 fouls to in the bonus in 0.8 seconds. Unreal the bias on the women’s b-ball side, whether it be the “good ole guys” of the B1G hating Cviv and our aggressive style, whatever it is but it’s infuriating. Today was total justice I loved seeing the players and fans in shock and hearing the stupid WisCAHNsin announcer so sad at the end

Which of the stats did I say that was not factual?

The Refs were very good. RU deserved almost every call that went against them. Teams that press all game long pick up a lot of fouls. BB 101. Refs were very good all game long. Don't be a whiny homer.

Clock operator used to work at Tennessee.
I thought the click runs off a device the refs have tied into the sound of their whistle? Not like the days I did it pushing a toggle switch back and forth.

Now if its a quick anticipated whistle that's another thing you see a lot...

IT's unclear how soon before the game team even knew she could play. This was her first competitive basketball game in 1.5 years. She had some saucy passes that were a bit too flashy for her teammates to handle in this game. They will all need some time to connect/build chemistry, but it's good for everyone to know now moving forward that she can suit up and provide minutes.

Just rewatched some of the game. While Arella's FG performance was subpar, she came up big, and to my mind, it actually didn't look like she was forcing too many shots--just missed a bunch she normally makes. Also the 8 assists shows she was getting her teammates involved too.

She also had a nice drive and kick to a wide open Arella for a wide open jumper that Arella just couldn’t hit.

Alexis said on social media that she found out Saturday morning that she was playing. She seemed surprised.

I think Alexis is going to be a major impact player going forward. She just needs time to gel with everyone in real games.
