Both of those teams sucked last night. I hope Eli retires at the end of the season, don't want to see him retire with another team at this point. Go enjoy yourself buddy, do some charity work or Geico commercials. In the long run its good that they lost but my god, the Eagles sure do have their number the last few years. I think I saw something last night that Eli is like 11-22 against the Eagles, even though the series history before last night was tied up after about 90 years of playing each other.

Panthers, bucs, bears, steelers and titans will all gladly take a qb if available. Raiders, chargers and broncos too most likely

Titans (if they resign Tannehill) and Broncos (Lock) aren’t in the market anymore.

Bears will sign a vet to challenge/back up Trubisky. Not drafting another high caliber QB yet.

If Pitt makes the playoffs, I could see them talking themselves into putting it off.
Plus they don’t have a 1st round pick (traded it).

Hey, at least the Giants got Leonard Williams for just a 3rd and 4th or 5th round pic. (Pics that will certainly be near the very top of each round.) All for the rights to negotiate with a player who can become an unrestricted free agent in 3 weeks and wants crazy money to resign. And he made the trade after the Giants where all but eliminated from the playoffs.

What a deal!!! Great job Gettleman! A team that desperately needs tons of fresh new talent gave away half their best draft pics for a useless piece of crap that the Jets didn't even want anymore.

I'm convinced Gettleman was drunk when he made that deal. There's no other logical explanation.

Dont think Gettleman was ever going to draft him anyway. Since they won today, Might as well draft a top 5 OLineman and go from there.
Why would he draft the best defensive player available? The 2019 Giants defense is right up there with the 85 Bears.

I would pick Young ASAP. But Gettleman goes against the grain. Otherwise he wouldnt have picked up Barkley and Jones. Giants winning today and moving away from the second pick (and probably even later in the draft) makes this a moot point anyway.

If Young is gone they can trade down 3-5 slots get an OL plus a pick in the Top 3rd of the 2nd rd. at a minimum from a QB hungry team.

I was thinking we should yank as well but this was good for Jones. We need him to have confidence going into next year. We need a left tackle as well. Maybe we end up with the third pick and Miami trades up to two to get Tua. They may be afraid someone else will trade up for him.

Cant complain about Gettlman's drafts. I could like Young like I liked Bosa and Josh Allen. But there are the players like Gholston, Quinnen Williams, Leonard Williams and even Clowney who never looked like a #1. I have some confidence in Gettleman to make something come out ok. Shurmer is another matter

Only the Giants would beat a division opponent in week 16 and give the opponent probably a better draft choice

Game looked like a Super Bowl with 2 good teams. Illusions of course

When Army was winning 1-3 games a year their Spring intra-squad scrimmages would look like Alabama vs Ohio St. Be careful of those matches between evens. I'm never too impressed by practices lol

Didn't know this Chase Young guy went to Rutgers?

Can't seem to find him on the roster anywhere...

Help me out here @Richard Schnyderite Thought maybe he was an "OT" but when I didn't see it I knew he wasn't. ;)

Show me where I complained about Gentleman's picks. I said he goes against the grain that got them Barkley and Jones, which meant that he was t necessarily getting Young. Like I said, it's a moot point anyway since they're not picking second.

No I wasn't saying you complained. I was agreeing with you about the grain thing. People questioned his picks and trades but a lot of them end-up looking good.
