What Are Our Official Colors?

The reason I ask is that when I was at RU, our colors were Scarlet / Black. But today, when looking at a website about Hoops, it shows that Rutgers official colors are Scarlet / White.

ps imo we should drop a 2nd color / just be Scarlet. Also think we should drop the "Knights" from our name (too many schools with Knights)...and just be the Scarlet.

Scarlet only, but can be down with grey, white and/or black trim. When Schiano was here first he made it so it was only Scarlet and White, he made a rule no black RS allowed. I remember Scarlet Fever had one that they had to take down or that Schiano gave them a hard time or something.
However, since we’ve joined the B1G it seems the shift has been back to black for us. Since there are already so many red/variant of red and white teams, they have made our next color black (on the official color wheel they use for the basketball tournaments, on screen graphics, etc).

Uhhhhh, no. Originally we tried to get Orange (for Duke of Orange) but they couldn't find any. Nothing about the princeton students buying it up. We werent even the Scarlet Knights until 1955. And the official school color is Scarlet.

Its not the color of that sports jacket Hobbs was wearing on Saturday. That was off at least a couple of shades too light.
