He’s actually not good at D. We were told he would be good at D but he doesn’t finish plays and dies on every screen.

McConnell needs to stop getting into foul trouble so we can limit his minutes.

He stinks. Out of control and refuses to pass to wide open guys.

Mulcahy had a rough game. Gonna need him to grow up fast.

There is a reason he was a Transfer from a big school like Texas....and comes to RU, no one else in a big conference wanted him, just bc at one time he was a 4 star RU thought they were getting a stud

When you waste time playing 7 ******** games, a P5 team can expose a player like Mulcahy that isn’t ready yet. He’ll adjust and be fine.

Young just doesn't seem to get it. The offensive flow disappears when he gets in the game. The ball doesn't move well, he's always looking for his shot instead of seeing the floor, he's sloppy with the ball, he drives into trees, he's out of control... he's the sort of guy you want to sub out on offense.

Did you see Caleb try to play defense tonight?

I do agree though
Yeah something was off, he didnt look steady on his feet. Granted he was guarding a short kid and thats not always easy when youre 6’7

Caleb didn’t play well. Nor did Geo. But I’m more confident with Caleb out there in the long run than Jacob. Caleb plays more under control. Pike needs to give more minutes to the more positive contributors. Jacob needs to earn minutes.

I’m not sure there is a net positive with him. Can play good d and is fast but then puts up wild shots. Definitely overhyped coming into this season.
One can see why he sat on the bench at Texas. This kid is out of control. Right now, he's just not very good.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Not sure if he makes us better or worse. Tonight he made us a lot worse. He didn't see or refused to pass to a wide open McConnell in the corner and instead took it straight into the trees for a turnover.

He just has zero court sense. And that us not something you can learn this late in your career.

If defense is more of a problem then perhaps he has earned minutes......but then loses them once the ball switches sides

We had quite a few guys not make the extra pass. Yeboah slammed in to Myles man who would have paid if Yeboah jump stops and gave Myles a bounce pass

With Kiss not dressed for tonight and seemingly out of the mix, Mulcahy isn't ready to guard on defense.

I don't see a solution over 20 B1G games with Young playing reduced minutes, Mathis and McConnell are already starting.

We are going to have to ride out with Young unless you want to play Yeboah up to 28 to 30 minutes and mix and match. The unawareness of time and score with Young is disappointing.

Yeboah should be able to play 28-30mpg. I am sure he did it at Stony Brook.

Pike also needs to get Shaq Carter involved. From what I've seen he is fairly skilled down low but he is hardly ever given a chance. Need a 2nd post or power forward option or we are gonna get killed

All Pike was saying before the season was how much Shaq Carter had improved since last year and “wait until you see what he does” talk.

I haven’t seen it in fact he hasn’t even been as good as last year.

He never gets the ball. A good coach (not saying Pike isn't just yet) gets his players in positions to succeed
