If Schiano revives football like CVS seems to be doing with womens bball...recruiting wins, etc...Pike is gonna start to feel real heat to step it up real fast. He's gonna lag as be the wrong sport standing out again.

i don’t see what the fascination is with Pike.

good guy who seems to bleed Rutgers, but what has he accomplished in 4 years?

I feel like I've been watching the same team for 30 years. Completely non-competitive on the road. No shooters, no offensive cohesive. Turnovers. But we're building. Yeah right.
Yup, sorry to say this but Pike's seat going to start getting very hot next season.
Unless our recruiting really picks up, next year will be no better.

i agree with your assessment.Road games are the albatross of the mens basketball program for decades. The team still doesn't have the go to shooter that can actually lead the team to wins.Pitt stinks which makes this game even harder to watch.

He's gotten some v good kids, won more league games, had an impressive MSG tourney...but its all about not level.

Personally wishing him well, but I'm not for a slow march forward. Hoping football shows the value of coaching investment.

Myles should have dunk and weak sauce loses it out of bounds...this is why we need better recruiting

This was always going to take 6-7 years don’t jump off the bandwagon now everybody just because you set expectations too high.

The biggest cause for concern is recruiting not the product in the floor

As bad as Young has been, McConnell has been absolutely dreadful in this game. As responsible as anyone for this disaster.

Do you think "at least as good as last year" is too high for expectations? Because as of now we are significantly worse.

Capel in his 2nd year took over a ridiculously bad Pitt and now probably has them possibly competing on the bubble for a ncaa bid this year while Pikiell has RU feasting on the likes of Niagara while the fans act like beating SF Austin was some groundbreaking moment in the program

McConnell hasn't scored any points, but our offense has flowed better with him in the game instead of Young. The ball sticks in Young's hands and doesn't move. Neither have any points, though
