Your team played hard, tough football! I was very impressed with your offensive line and your RB! Langdon is also a beast and reminds me of our QB yesterday(Levis). Very impressed with how crisp your team was on both sides of ball. Very disciplined and virtually no mistakes. Your interim HC clearly has the respect of those players and I just wanted to come here and let you know (although i am no one special) that I was honestly very impressed with your team yesterday. Thank you...The team actually gave us a little to look forward to next year. Team will be much tougher next year with Schiano too and by his 2nd year, we should win the games we are expected to but may steal a win or two. Again, something to at least look forward to.

What the last couple of months showed us was that while Schiano has a ton of work to do in all aspects of the program, and the talent level on the field needs to be greatly improved, he is not inheriting a team that is almost completely devoid of talent like he did the first time replacing Shea.
Hopefully with the transfer portal existing this time as another resource it is not a long road to get us back to basic competitiveness in the B1G.

I wonder how much yesterday’s performance and the toughness our guys showed (as well as Nunzio’s leadership) will help the sell to 2020/2021 recruits.
The team did not embarrass itself whatsoever and showed true grit and Jersey toughness.
Those traits have to be our calling card going forward.
I think the sell is definitely a little easier than if Ash had finished out the year.
I think it is a big reason why I feel that Greg really has to keep Nunzio on staff. I feel if we retained Ash, this team would not have shown the grit it did yesterday.
It was the best game we played all season. It was fun to do it against Penn State, a great college football scene.
