Inconsistent Rutgers vs. a team with a ton of freshman. Need magic 8 ball for this. Since all fans have done a 180 and are now bullish on Rutgers I am worried.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We play great D are smarter, pass with a plan, don't throw up any bombs and are deep. Having said that we need to upgrade in a few areas for the Big Ten. Myles on offense. Young needs to slow down. I want more Carter. Dis and dat... Can we beat Michigan MSU Purdue Illinois? Stranger things have happened. I like where we are.

Two points I especially agree with — our passing was purposeful and we need more Carter.

On that second point I think Carter has taken some criticism, likely because he’s not rebounding or scoring at the same rate as last year. But he’s also playing about 30% less (10 mpg vs 14 mpg last year).

And this year Carter may be going for blocks more (already has 4 blocks when he had only 6 all of last year). I’m thinking he rebounds more against B1G teams since they’re generally bigger inside and he won’t be tempted to go for blocks as much.
