We have to beat them at home.

7 games left in 2019. Given what we've seen so far this year, I'll sign for for 5-2 right now then go into the New Year 10-3.

Let's get it done men!
5-2? Am I missing something about UMass, or are you confused about the upcoming schedule? I see they were ranked #24 briefly before losing by double digits to Virginia and St. John's. I expect us to get to 6-1 on Friday. I agree with you that Wisconsin should not be out of reach on our home floor.

I think he means 5-2 in the remaining 2019 games, which would make us 10-3 at New Years.

Wisconsin is awful. Trust me! I saw them at Barclays on Monday vs Richmond and they are slow and soft.

We should beat them comfortably at home.

Plus they also lost to New Mexico today and UNM is not good

Been saying Wisconsin overrated and due for down year. I had this game as a W. It's such an important stretch. Hopefully the team is clicking for these games

Alvarez has made a lot of good promotion hires but an athletic department cannot subsist upon assistants promoted to HC alone

Today’s Sagarin (thru 11/26/2019) has Wisconsin as #89, Rutgers #90.
Today’s Sagarin (through 11/30/2019) has Rutgers at #66, ahead of both Wisconsin (#68) and Syracuse (#70) and Georgetown (#72). Take that ... Mac McClung.

Any of the next 4 are winnable. Pitt and Wisconsin are easier than MSU and Seton Hall. I would love to see 2-2 but 3-1 or 4-0 are possible if they keep gelling. Don't tell me Mich St. Isn't winnable they have lost to them 4 times in 2 years by 11(down 2 half) and 10(tied half) @home, and by 11(up 7 half) and 4(down 7 half, OT loss) on the road. They had leads in a couple of them and no blowouts lost late in the 2nd half of all 4.

Games are always about matchups. Rutgers, for some reason, seems to match up well against MSU, which gives Rutgers a shot every time.

Very few things basketball wise would please me more than beating Wisconsin. After that game at the Garden (2 yrs ago?) they've been on my **** list - talk about entitled fans...........

I feel Wisconsin talks sh*t like they have won a dozen national chips. They never wanted Rutgers in the B1G and they will say it to anyone willing to listen.

We've played MSU very very tough with much worse talent. Would be a huge signature win for Pike

I would love to finally edge out MSU. I do not think this will be the year.

Pitt and WISC are very very winnable games, i hope we play like we have of late in both those bouts.

As far as SHU, Powell is literally unstoppable. I think with him and their gigantic centers causing problems we will lose there. I hope i am very wrong as anyone is beatable.

I think you meant “often” rather than “always”. If you read this forum, folks will tell you that games are determined by officiating, free throw shooting accuracy, 3-point shooting efficiency, fouling strategy, etc. Many things determine the outcome of contests.

Some are going to hate this......but a lot has to do with Izzo and how he approaches the games against us. Nick Ward was absolutely destroying us last year and the only person who could stop him did.
