...Obviously there are many more so please feel free to add on. Also Looking forward to attendance battles, lot wars, and being able to engage with visiting fans in a hostile fashion - and feeling good about it - once again lol!

(Looks like it’s going to be a few more days until this thing gets done so I’ve got to talki about something lol...)

Twizzlerman still posts on the Grease Truck, but you're right a lot of charactrers come out of the woodwork when the team is winning.

The people in their 40’s and 50’s with money from 2006 are 60’s and 70’s now.

Maybe living in Florida or somewhere south. Or not with us anymore.

Those 16,000 season tickets just aren’t going to magically come back.

I’m 55 and have low interest in getting emotionally involved. It’s hard to trust again after the clown show the last 4 years. Even the younger fans said they have found other things to do with their money and fall Saturdays.

People expecting some miracle turnaround in support or results might want to temper expectations.

1) REALLY not what this thread was about, HOWEVER...

2) Season ticket sales will increase overnight, under Greg, I can tell you that much. We start showing improvement they will again every single year. Do you realize how many freakin’ alumni we have in the state? WIN AND THEY WILL COME. Period.

I agree that selling tickets for a winning RU will be just like 10 years ago. They'll sell them. NJ is full of front runners. RU starts to win and the fans will be there.

It kind of is. You were saying all these people etc. will be back. I’m just saying if it happens it won’t be 16,000 tickets right away. That’s delusional. If you get over 20,000 next year that would be good. Maybe 25,000 max.

no, he said Characters. these characters. Big difference. The characters were epic..and not always real and probably never attended games. He wants the characters to come back to the board.

I follow him on Instagram. He was beyond excited that the Raptors won the NBA title. He is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Actually picked me up at the Detroit Airport around midnight the night before the Quick Lane Bowl and drove me to my hotel. When I got there, Mrs. Screw and RU4Real were still drinking at the hotel bar, lol.

You must have arrived shortly after we did. We were in line checking in at midnight. that was one of @RU4Real cannonball runs......

Nice guy - seemed like our unofficial host at the Toronto bowl. Wasn't his original username kiz or something like that? I recall him joining the board when we were getting Canadians like Hairston and Westerman, who I think he was friends with. Was thinking he was going to deliver Jerome Messam to RU as our next Heisman candidate.

Fair enough.

But didn’t he leave for the other board? Since the new owners wouldn’t let him and his little group run roughshod over this one anymore. And complain about people and try to get posts removed and people banned.

Pretty rich that he want the characters back.

Maybe it wasn’t @darkken but the person I’m thinking of had trouble with his syntax and typing skills. Someone gave him a hard time on here even after he explained his disability. I got really annoyed about that. Like really annoyed.

And now I’m mad just remembering it. LOL

I remember him! I was trying to think of his screen name as I read/posted through this thread. I believe that @darkken was his name..or something like that. He was a sideline photographer.

Wow, nice try, and once again you fail. I was welcomed back to this board well before John left here to go to the other board. I was the one who was run “roughshod” on, bitched about incessantly by four or five posters to the mods, and eventually given an extended suspension because of it. ALL due to me being 100% spot-on about Flood (Both on and off the field of play). Get your facts straight dude.

So which retread of an old moniker, or monikers, are you?
