And I don’t believe Scherzer has JAKE in any single category...
Except that the voters may not want to give b2b Cy Youngs to a pitcher on a non playoff team. Stranger things has happened... Mike Musina/ Harold Baines in the HOF for no reason.

Relax, don't compare Mussina and Baines. Mussina is a legit borderline HOF and someone can rationally argue either way. Baines is a JOKE and was selected via the asinine veterans committee because of LaRussa. Baines never received more than 5% of the voter from writers and may be the worst inductee in the history of the hall.

I know it is T&C but it could only hold water if said pitcher for a better team, actually had more wins...

Make it Frazier instead of DiDi and the Yankees would turn it down as according to some of their fans on this board, their SP is fine and just last year, both Andujar and Clint were untouchable..,
Why would the Yanks trade for an NL pitcher with a 4+ era? That's essentially a 5+ era in the AL.

Maybe for a NL hitter whos 51 HRs in the NL would have demolished Judge’s record if said change from NL to AL happened.
Also- take a look at Noah’s career era and W/L for a below average team then try to be smart with your comments.

The Pirates beat the Cubs! Does that help our chances? [banana]

No. The Cubs have themselves been eliminated, and the Nationals and Brewers have clinched. The Cubs have got to be very disappointed with their year. The injury to Baez hurt down the stretch, and the relief pitching has been terrible all year.

Lol, Yankee Stadium is an advantage way above any possible juiced ball, but hey, I wouldn't expect anything less from a baseball moron. October 10th,see ya!!!!!
You watch the Mets in Citi for awhile, then turn on the Yankee's, it's laughable how tiny that right field is.

Great for lefty hitters, but also for right fielders. That has to be the easiest defensive assignment in baseball.

Well I wouldn't say that. BVW certainly did, or at least claimed to. Remember "come get us"? Where this team is now has pretty much met my expectations, although they took a much different route than I expected.
It is fair to say no one expected it in June.

Conforto would be hitting 40+ and McNeil 30+ at Yankee Stadium

Given that Yankee Stadium is a band box compared to Citi, I can see your point.
I think David Cone had the stats on that and they showed that the Mets park was more homer-friendly than Yankees Stadium.
Who cares anyway ? The Yanks won their division and are heading to the playoffs.
The Mets are heading to the golf course to join Cespedes, Ellsbury, and Bird.

So Noah's ERA would go down if he went to the ******?

(just a heads up but my post was a subtle jab shedding light on T2K's contradictory statements)

I see the low self esteem troll is back. I asked you twice before who gives a **** about the Yankees on this thread. You never answered because you know no one gives a **** about them here. Yet you come on crying for attention. Its sad. Go out and make friends, go to the gym, volunteer with a charity. All these things will help you get the attention you crave and build self esteem.

Considering the voters are about to give the AL MVP to someone on a 73 win/4th place team (35 games out of first place) - nobody will care about a back to back CY Young winner not on a playoff team.

Callaway said that Mets are gearing it down somewhat. Shutting Wilson down. Not shutting Lugo down, but will only pitch one inning and no back to backs. Would like Diaz and Familia to get save opportunities if possible.

Guillorme and Rivera starting tonight.

The Yankees' cat is the grey one.
