I'm just legit waiting for him to break down in tears and just go "I don't know what else I can even do."

"We wore out in the 4th quarter."

WELL NO CRAP YOU NEVER RECRUITED DEFENSIVE LINEMAN SO YOU CAN ROTATE THEM IN AND OUT.

Stop talking about how great the bye week was, and how great meetings went.

That means garbage, as Allen Iverson said "It's practice." Practice means nothing, show me results when the game is actually on the line.

Art played "out-standing"? He played "acceptable" especially by offensive standards of today.

other than a couple years during the Shea era, before internet and satellite radio where I didn't follow the team.... other than that - I've never quit on an RU coach during my 43 years as a fan ......... until today.....

I thought that our passing offense played well today. Our Defense could not stop the big BC backs from running it down our throats.

The BC QB Brown didn’t need to throw against us to win the game today. BC is a better team than us.

He doesnt inspire any confidence when he speaks... ever. A good HC for RU has to #1 recruit well ( this means find hidden gems and also be in the conversation with higher ranked recruits). #2 they need to be really inspirational, get folks to believe in themselves and RU and NJ...this feeda into #1. #3 they need to be great at developing and last #4 have to be aggressive. You cant wint at a school like RU without being relentless and aggressive.

This is basically schiano. No one else fits, and his impact on ticket sales will immediately pay for his salary investment

All of the above points are true, and it is remarkable that Hobbs apparently did not understand any of this when he was looking for a new coach. Hobbs is being paid big bucks to run the athletic program yet he does not know how to hire a football coach who would be a good fit for Rutgers? Maybe that's what you get when you hire someone from a school that does not play football.

He is no longer dazed and confused, he is just plan beaten down. For the first time I think he truly realizes he is in way over his head here.

The arrogance of Ash and his cohorts Mehringer, Blazek and Parker ruined this program. Ash inherited 6 win talent from Flood and ruined it with the chuck and duck offense experiment. ,Blazeks O Line hype, and Parkers nutrition and training Ohio St vidoes.

SCHIANO DOSENT GET THIS BOARDS STAMP OF APPROVAL. WHO IN THE NAME OF GOD WOULD WANT TO COME HERE AND COACH FOOTBALL? ASH IS LEAVING A 5 TO 7 YEAR REBUILD IF IT EVEN CAN BE REBUILT.

Nope not sorry. He took the job, knew the pressure, stakes and is paid a ridiculous amount of money. On the flip side, if he nailed this gig he would be looking at some next level jobs.

We’re allowed to not feel sorry for the guy.

The scary thing is that was IMO, this was the best game the team has played this year. The number of penalties are atrocious and killed any chance at a W.

You are exaggerating. Yes, because of the lines it would take several years, but effective recruiting and a coach with enough juice to attract interest from players in the transfer portal could turn it around in a shorter time than we have been dealing with Ash.

I’ll stand up for Chris here. I don’t think it was a bad presser. He answered the questions as well as one could expect given the circumstances.

Chris Ash might be more successful as the Dean of the Seton Hall Law School than as football coach.
