The Giants job is a premier position in the NFL.
I don’t care if they’re awful, it carries as much clout as the Cowboys job.

It’s inconceivable to me this man is coaching my team.
He really should be relieved of duty.,, this is on par with Joe Pisarcik days

Schurms had success with Keenum and Foles. I haven't seen much in NY. Just today I'm wondering how Giants leave Barkley and the running game to go for dreadful passing. Eli is 1 for 7 (14 yds) at the mo and the problems aren't all Eli. Schurmer always seems cranky - like he doesn't like being where he is

This is probably what got him the job:

Minnesota Vikings[edit]
On January 25, 2016, the Minnesota Vikings named Shurmur their new tight ends coach.[9] On November 2, 2016, the Vikings promoted him to interim Offensive Coordinator in the wake of Norv Turner's resignation.[10] He was confirmed for the position for the 2017 season.[11] The Vikings finished the season ranked 11th highest scoring offense, after being only 28th overall in 2016. Second-string quarterback Case Keenum posted the best season of his five-year NFL career, after taking over for Sam Bradford, who suffered a knee injury in Week 1. Shurmur was named the NFL Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2017 season.[12]

So you have no pass rush, CBs or healthy WRs. You want to keep Buffalo off the field because you cant defend vs them. Between no defense, and crappy WRs, the Giants should be running. But they are 8/17 for 62 yds passing, and 11 carries for 91 yards and a TD rushing. Giants should be trying to imitate Army and not Kansas City

Well, you're a Giants fan.

But across the NFL, the Cowboys are higher profile.

I'm not a fan of either
The NY Giants are a 4-time Super Bowl-winning team in the largest city and TV market in the country. Damn right the Giants are at the same level as the Cowboys!

Go back to drinking because football clearly isn't your thing.

If you dont realize that the Cowboys are a bigger profile team than the Giants nationally , with so much evidence to digest, you're a buffoon

Go back to drinking?
I've been downing Bud Lites since 11

What’s the argument?
Are the giants a premier franchise or not.
No one is asking you to rank them.

The Canadians are a high profile NHL job, so are the Rangers
