Whoever the coaches think that gives us the best chance to win
If it were your choice, who would you start?
One sits and hopes things happen, the other plays, and makes things happen.Wasn’t the main argument “2018 was the worst offense in college football and the worst of the Ash Era, but we need McN back for continuity”?
If “continuity” is the reason McN needed to come back, doesn’t Sit have to start?
For “continuity”??
I used to agree with this, but not with this coaching staff.Whoever the coaches think that gives us the best chance to win
silly poll--as if the pseudo experts on this board have any meaningful insight--especially after one scrimmage--if you vote, you're outed yourself
Based on what? Nowhere near enough information out there on both kids yet. Very silly poll at this point of summer practice.:YesNo
Carter is going to be our Baker Mayfield duh lol. :Wink:Wasn’t the main argument “2018 was the worst offense in college football and the worst of the Ash Era, but we need McN back for continuity”?

Carter. It would be nearly impossible for him to be worse than Sit.
When Sitkowski was finally benched for the last game, stat wise Gio wasn't that big of an improvement. But you know what? Got some important first with his legs. Had the lead in the 4th quarter with a chance to win.
Tired of walking out of the stadium or turning off the TV before halftime because we are getting our *** handed to us.
I would agree with this, if Ash wasn't our coach. Zero confidence in his decision making abilities.Whoever the coaches think that gives us the best chance to win
Should be 100%.over 78% vote for Carter so far
I know that you are saying this with a gleam in your eye.Our Coaches have yet to make good decisions in the past 3 years.Whoever the coaches think that gives us the best chance to win
Actually ,4 more years should get it done.Offense will be much better this year I have alot of faith in McNulty. I think he is the main reason for change in OL coach. I think this staff needs 2 more yrs I think the coaches in place are light yrs ahead of where we started 3 yrs ago
Carter, knows how to play the position. Knows to throw the ball away if no one is open.
Better to take a shot with something new than continue with what he saw last season.Lol nobody here actually knows anything about Carter. Same group that voted for Bolig years ago... “he’s super good but only didn’t start because he was behind a heisman trophy winner”
Is that you Marty Schottenheimer?I know that you are saying this with a gleam in your eye.Our Coaches have yet to make good decisions in the past 3 years.

He must. AS started last year in order to groom a quarterback for the long term. It doesn't mean Carter cannot play meaningful minutes.

Amazing you have Syracuse and Iowa st in the top 20......,why?
Both head coaches are offensive minded. Which makes their QB play so much better than a defensive minded coach like ASH. If you give these two QB’s here at Rutgers a chance to be coached under BABERS OR CAMPBELL. They would be very good college QB’s in my opinion
He should, if the stated goal is to develop a long term quarterback. Carter should contribute and play meaningful minutes. Why would we start over again next year looking for a QB?Wasn’t the main argument “2018 was the worst offense in college football and the worst of the Ash Era, but we need McN back for continuity”?

Many on this board? A couple to a few at most. You must be reading the polls wrong.
I have it on good authority (from many on this board) that Babers and his “up tempo, fast pace, gimmick offense” will never work in a P5 conference. It certainly would never work against elite teams (such as Clemson.....).
Of course these are usually the people making these two contradictory statements:
1. Recruiting is all that matters. Nobody could coach these RU players and win or be competitive.
2. Syracuse is in our rear view. They have no talent. They will never win.
Maybe coaching does come first....
