i agree with calling up Herrara and DFAing AA. I still prefer an alignment with Lagares in CF to help Davis and McNeil at 2b. Its really pick your poison. I think when Stroman pitches they should revert to the lineup you propose above.

Washington and Atlanta picked up Cabrera and Duda. We stood pat. Either one could have helped off the bench as a bat. I hate the 4 man bench and with our starters now going 7 per start, they should really drop a pitcher and get a position player onto the roster.
Really, you're upset they didn't pick up Cabrera and Duda? Both are done.

So Calloway gets blame for losses but no credit for wins?

You can view Mickey how you want. I view him as someone who time after time puts us in more positions that hurt the team than help on the field. In the clubhouse he seems like a great guy and that might be more important.

Giants put Joe Panik on waivers. Mets might be interested in lefty hitting second baseman.

Puke time for 6-7-8 hitters tonight. Guillome, hecheveria and lagares. My Over / under = 1 hit. Prove me wrong fellas positively. I say 1 hit by hecheverria.

Before Cano got injured, I didn’t want AC but now, his .235 and 12 HR looks pretty good. And he handles Ny...better then we have now
Actually my view on Cabrera is the opposite. Before Cano got hurt, he might have been an OK 25th man. But as an everyday replacement for Cano, no. He was terrible defensively last year and I doubt he's gotten better. And at this stage of his career I'm not sure he's any better offensively than the in-house options.

Ya, the SNY guys were saying he's done in the field, at which point I have little interest. I want to go down the stretch with as good as fielding a team as possible.

This torture won't sustain long, and this is with McNeil recovering thankfully and back in the lineup.

The one thing I will say is I doubt those guys play 9 innings(outside of us winning a laugher).

If your going to be in for fielding purposes, you can't be missing that play there Guillome.

Ehh it was mistimed by a second. He just made a great play the play before getting the lead runner at 2B. The defense with Hech/Guillorme is noticeably better than we've had.

I can't say I realized that those guys were such good gloves. And that should make those in the cheap seats above pipe down a bit.

If there were a game in which we could start a couple non hitters this was it.

Maybe some of you guys will get off Guillorme's *** for a minute, now. Outstanding performance in the field tonight, per Keith.
