This got a fair amount of play on the Boneyard - the UConn fans posting all had fond memories of her from her BC days, although her career was less spectacular thereafter. I always liked her, as well.

She was in her first year as an associate head coach at a school and apparently fell down a stairway on her way to a practice. Several surgeries were not able to save her.

Don't really know what to say about her cause of death, except to say : it's a shame to see an accident like that cost a life.
