That was a little better but dammit we really have problems finishing. Should’ve had three or four goals before the rain started. Anyway, let’s beat Mexico!

But those first 17 minutes was probably the best stretch of soccer for the USMNT in years (and Jamaica isn't Brazil, but they ain't Trinidad and Tobago either). It shows there's some potential there for this team to get much better, especially with the young talent we now have.

Always been the Achilles of our soccer team. We have the athletes in the back, and are super fit. We miss the clinical guys up front that finish. For some reason we just can’t produce them. You watch other countries, good ones, and they always seem to have them.

The back line with this team is actually worse than ever with the injuries.

They were expecting more than 50% Mexican fans - hard to say from looking at the stadium, but I'm sure it's close - atmosphere looks to be electric.

Almost, by Pulisic, but gotta give Altidore credit for holding that one up and the pass...

Very intense, high temperature game. Some of the shithousery has started, with a Mexican player kicking a ball at a prone Pulisic as after the whistle was blown. Ref better be careful or he'll have to distribute cards like candy.

Stadium is so loud I can't hear the commentators, may have to put on the closed caption, lol

Why are you trying to ruin a 2nd soccer thread? You don't even care about the sport. Just leave.
I am watching the game. Like there aren’t illegals there lol. Why does that bother you?

Take Morris out. He’s killing the squad.

Yeah, never been a Morris fan. Not sure what our coaches see in him. Looks invisible. Cannon looks more effective on that flank.

Damn, that looked painful and he might be their best player - hope he's ok, as that was a tough foul on him.

Best US half in a long time, considering the competition. We looked dangerous, having several great chances and were close in possession time against Mexico, which usually doesn't happen. Should really be up in this game.
