"Art he's got to be more consistent" Damn. I was hoping he would have improved a lot by now. On the other hand Coach Ash was all smiles. That is usually a good sign.
I noticed he was very chipper and engaging too.
If you watch any coach's interviews about Spring practice and early season, "consistent" is a word that comes up in 99% of interviews for players who are freshman and sophomores. Not surprising.

If Art shows no improvement in the first three games bench him in favor of anyone else. That will be enough time to prove he can succeed at this level.

Is it only me not being able to hear the questions being asked? It seems to be an ongoing problem that needs to be corrected.

It does, I wish they would go back to the pressers being inside the Hale. We are trying our best at the moment.

I can’t believe anything that Ash says about his Sitkowski. A year ago Ash thought that his team might get to a bowl behind the kid. It’s now year 4 and Sitkowski is all he’s got left at the position after a transfer and a conversion to TE. So, how can he possibly say anything negative with a sensitive soph? And after last year’s complete over-estimation on his roster and QB, why does the press give him any credibility?

His job depends on one guy. Artur. He will spin it like a top until he and the fans are dizzy. So very sad. I desperately want to believe Ash is the right guy but I will remain dubious at best until I see a glimmer of hope in Art''s right arm and his head.

Why doesn't the OC bear any responsibility in this QB development issue? Not an Ash guy, but I thought the OC was supposed to be a good and significant upgrade. His failure to use the run game and certain backs when it clearly was better than the passing game as well as not changing out the QB at all is indication something is not right with the OC and/or the OC/HC relationship. Can't believe OC does not have some autonomy based on his experience and previous success.
