I think the gas tank is running down for Nebraska.

Nebraska is missing shots and fouling. It took them about 64 minutes but the tide is turning.

This Nebraska game has the feel of RU Indiana at MSG last year.....Indiana kept waiting for RU to unravel and it never happened.

James Palmer is the type of player that I would love to see Rutgers get....6'7 with very long arms that can finish in the lane and shoot it.

When do we want to rewind the 6 scholarship nonsense and Nebraska tanking narratives??

Two dangerous senior guards are shutting down Maryland and I don't quite see anyone giving the Huskers credit for last night or today.

With one nephew at Florida and one at Villanova, at least I have some interest in the conference and NCAA's these days. Gators just thumped Arkansas 66-50. Is that enough to make it in or do they need one more win ?

Cmon...you watched the game last night

RU was trash...should have been up double digits and turned it over 22 times. Nebby did nothing particular well

I think thats what the real issue was that got to people, the unforced errors. But lets give Tim Miles some credit here, he is doing all he can in the tournament.

Tim Miles? Maybe because he recruited 3 ballers. He isn’t doing anything other than letting them display their talents.

Slowing the game down, packing the defense in to force outside shots from a much bigger MD team. Switching defenses, yea, he deserves credit for recruiting players too.

Unlike most here, I’m interested in BE tourney—old habit. Both teams very inconsistent but put a few bucks on Marquette over Johnnies on coaching alone.

Just my opinion but his guys are just balling with little coaching. Packing things in on d is what everyone does if people can’t make shots.

How many Nebraska shots have come with under 5 seconds on the shot clock? They are taking as much air out of the game as possible to limit possessions. That comes from the coach. Doubling down at the right times, rushing back out to challenge shooters. The strategy is to limit possessions and force outside shooters to beat you. They still might lose, but this game has gone the was Nebraska wanted it to be played.

Up to the foul shooters now. Cowen with a big shot to give them life.

Geez. Who'd a thunk it? Nebraska has led pretty much the entire game. They now lead by 7 67-60 with 46.7 seconds left.

It's okay for an afternoon game. The low half is semi-full. The loge and upper decks completely empty. But I believe there were better crowds in the Garden last year in the earlier games. It will be interesting how the crowds are going to be in tonight's game and the quarterfinals.

Nebraska has a player we couldn't stop once Mathis got in foul trouble....but the defensive gameplan by Nebraska did the job last night and is doing the job vs Maryland.

At some point the loss while frustrating was caused by Nebraska their defense and seniors Watson smothering Geo and Eugene's lack of health as a post player. The number of scholarship players for a few games and the tanking has no relevance to their success.
