Watson has had 3 fouls since 10 minutes remaining and Geo refused to drive on him the entire game. Would have either fouled out or not guarded as close. So frustrating

Yes much of the loss is on Pike for the defensive game plan, with that said you don’t win games with turning the ball over 22 times.

it was a terrible coaching job, he had a lot of help from his players...all of them were guilty of bonehead plays tonight

No gameplan, no excuses. Any progress this season is masked by the awful effort put forth in the last 3 games.
I couldn't agree more. I love Pike but he **** the bed tonight. What a HORRIBLE coaching job by him. HORRIBLE. Nebraska is playing with 6 scholarship players and he doesn't exploit that. But I'm not going to let the kids get by with once of the WORST performances I've seen by them all year. Shame on our kids. TWENTY TO's????!!!! Are you kidding me!!!! They should hang their heads in shame.

This was a total $****-show by the coaches and players!

Substitution pattern was weird in the 2nd half. He should have kept the guys fresh and the pressure on in the 2nd half. It seemed like we were riding the same lineup and waiting for them to come back

Isn't Hobbs in charge of the offense? Game plan and sets don't seem to be great all year

Fine the sky is falling and the entire season was a complete loss. I am going to stay optimistic and say we take another step forward next season to NCAA bubble/NIT
Obviously whoever you are, you don't come around here much. All of the regulars here like me LOVE THIS TEAM. But we have EVERY RIGHT to be pissed off at the total **** show we witnessed tonight. I and others have every effin' right to vent. Next year, is next year. Tonight was a disgrace. So was the Penn. State game.

Was a bad showing tonight. I think the mental impact of Thiam and the freshman end of the season grind really turned this season on it's head quickly.

Little over the top. Don’t you think. The last three years we combined for 7 Big Ten wins. This year far from a **** show
No Bird, it's not. I am coming down from watching this **** show tonight. If you know anything about me, I'm usually very measured. But right now I'm pissed off.

This pattern of missed opportunities/empty possessions and unforced errors is disturbing. The body language hasn't been good the last 3 games. With the exception of Omoruyi and Johnson, this team has looked... disinterested? distracted? gassed? Idk. Bad way to go out.

Fine. And if you know anything about me I like to be realistic. Would have loved to have won. Believe we should/could have based on Nebraska’s lack of depth. All that said Never thought we would win 7 Big Ten games. Love our youth but it showed at the end of the year. Again realist in me expected that. Love the players coming into the program. Already looking forward to next year

BTW, I'm over the moon that we won 7 B1G games. I had us winning 5-6 games, so I'm thrilled about that. Still, tonight just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will get over this in due time and realize what a very good season we had. Yes, the future looks bright.

Offensive game plan?

For me, again the substitution patterns/lineup combos and trying to post up Eugene on Roby were really bad. We are a terrible back to the basket post up team yet we continue to try to go to it time and time again. Makes no sense to me.

People often forget we play 20 conference games. The harsh reality is if you look at the luck ratings from the teams “tied” or below us they they were leas lucky than us and had better wins. Factor in Nebraska’s injury issue and the fact that recruiting has yet to take off and I can understand why some people are responding in a somewhat negative way.

I think moreso people are correctly tempering expectations, specifically just realized this thing is building on a slower timeline then they initially thought. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I don’t think anyone isn’t confident in Pikes coaching abilities as whole. Tonight he had a bad night though.

The Thiam situation had nothing to do with the way we played. If Hobbs is in fact in charge of the offense than he has to go.
