Boscovs has Rutgers red short sleeve and long sleeve shirts for $9.99
Kohls stores has lots of Rutgers stuff on sale
Could also check Dicks Sporting Goods

Sorry, but the "youngins" are part of the problem. On most nights, maybe 25% of the students in the student section are wearing red. (And yes, I'm aware that many rows in the left section are very often NOT students).

Back in the old days, students didn't have to be told to wear red. They just did it.

Well true, but also Rutgers is also part of the problem because they sale a lot of grey and black, but where I was the last 5 years, we wore red. I never noticed the disparity until I watched on tv. It looks like an NBA game compared to say, when Duke plays, they wear Blue.

Maryland has 4 colorways and yet the students are always in sync. It’s not hard stuff

Well when the R U chant is only two letters and we screw that up all the time, you start to consider it par for the course. Fans need a singular voice of authority the will reach everyone to tell them what to wear on the same day. That authority used to be the University, but for some unbeknownst reason they decided they couldn't be bothered with it any longer. When they decided it was important the message got through and everyone wore RED.
