Tonight was the best atmosphere and loudness from the fans at the RAC, since the Waters years, IMO. The crowd was consistently loud, especially in the 2nd half and it's the first time I can recall everyone in the lower level standing up for multiple possessions down the stretch.

We've always known what an advantage our little bandbox can be and we're seeing it again. I don't want any "new" arena - just continue fixing this one and make sure any expansion adds to the noise level without screwing anything up. Of course, a lot of this has to do with finally having a good, competitive team and we have that.

Not officially there yet but that was the loudest in a long time when the fans yelled defense and when Murphy airballed his foul shot.

There have been sell out games this year where the crowd was loud like Iowa but fans react differently when Rutgers loses as to a lasting impression.

Clearly , the loudest this year and probably the loudest in a long time, not sure Waters is right, as the Florida game with Rice when Mack and Carter were freshman was really loud. Your point is well made, and this team has really grown on us, and is so exciting , but heart wrecking, to watch that people are taking notice. Sunday night crowd a little before the Oscars with 7200 plus and it looked like at least that many, is a great tribute to this team and all 7200 made a difference last night .
