Attention attorneys...
Here's your chance to make a name for yourself, change the fates (RU SCREW) and earn some big bucks.
Let's start a petition forcing the NCAA/ BIG to review calls and non calls after a game (in games decided by 3 points or less). Therefore, not every hodgepodge missed call or wrong call will be reviewed if the final score is > 4 points (I'm willing to listen to arguments extending the review process to 6 points ...but I'm trying to keep costs / time down).
Delaney and the NCAA hold the leash that forces coaches and FANS to LIVE or DIE with Refs decisions. I still remember the St. John's day massacre. Those F'ers should have been gathered in their locker room...read the riot act , apologized to the fans, players and coaches and then RESTARTED the last 1.7 ? seconds at MSG. PERIOD!
Same with yesterday's results. A review of the tip in was CRITICAL. Let them play ….ok some fouls won't be called and some will. The refs should STATE prior to the beginning of the game what they will or won't call: e.g. we will let them play through contact, or if bodies collide or hands touch hands arms etc. it's a FOUL. We should get to hear this proclamation prior to the event so we know what to expect and what style of play we should or shouldn't employ.
Either that or ENFORCE TO THE LETTER the definition of a foul: educate all refs, review their calls and eliminate those incapable of following the rules.
I'd encourage an proactive Rutgers alum to start a petition for the emotional, psychological and financial loses (bets lost at Vegas or AC or wherever). Force the NCAA and B1G to play by the rules or ditch them and let basketball evolve into Rollerball 2019!~
MO
1975 Rollerball (starring James Caan)
2018: In a futuristic society where corporations have replaced countries, the violent game of Rollerball is used to control the populace by demonstrating the futility of individuality. However, one player, Jonathan E., rises to the top, fights for his personal freedom, and threatens the corporate control.
