Thought this was Montez's best game. A couple mistakes, like all freshman make, but 5 assists, played in control most of the game, worked hard throughout.

Kid's a winner and a battler and a warrior. Will take guys with the skillset and attiude of Mathis any day. Another aspect of Montez' game that people don't realize is his intelligence on the court. He knows all the plays; all the defensive formats as he is constantly advising others where to position themselves.

If you saw the open practice preseason you would be amazed how much development your comment shows.

Damn. Tez is the man!!! All of these guys are my favorites. I always say the Ron Harper is my favorite among the newbies. But all of these guys are giving it there all, working hard, competing twice a week against the best college players in the country. Tez is a leader and a monster! No fear what so f in ever!

Ron Harper is so smooth, savvy and talented.

Caleb has come so far in a just a few months. Shooting, playing D. Rebounding. Passing.

Johnson mixing it up with B1G bigs every night. Finesse on O and a bit of a mean streak with those shot blocks. Get that **** outta here!!

Carter with his smooth moves around the hoop. He is so decisive and solid. And the big dude hits the offensive boards like someone stole his lunch!

And EO. And Geo. And Doorson. How can you not pull for each of these dudes!?! And Issa, Kiss, Young and Joey Downes. Paul Mulcahy.

How damn lucky are we to have all of these young men as Scarlet Knights! With their desire, work ethic and these coaches, the future is very bright, ladies and gents.

like someone said in the game thread, teams get confused as to why the crowd gets so loud cutting a lead to 10.

I do have to say .. this is my favorite RU bball team based purely on heart and personality in a long long time. The last team I can say I felt this connected to because of their love for RU and heart on the court was the Mack, Jack squad.
