Edit- This preview has morphed into the Match Thread ! lol. Only a few hours to go !

#13 Rutgers vs #18 Princeton ( Princeton has been off almost a month, and then will wrestle a double header Today ,the day before RU, not sure if most of their team will wrestle 2, they should win both fairly easy.

125- Shane Metzlar vs #10 Pat Glory. Glory by Major Dec, Metzlar needs to stay off his back.
Princeton up 4-0

133- #4 Nick Suriano vs Jon Gomez. Suriano by Maj. Dec., possible TF.
Rutgers up 4-4

141- Peter Lipari vs Marshall Keller. Toss Up, even if MVB gets the start . Giving Lipari a close dec, due to wrestling at home, and wrestling well against some top guys.
Rutgers up 7-4

149- #2 Anthony Ashnault vs #1 Matt Kolodznik. Feature bout of the season. Ashnault won 6-2 in the NCAAs 2 years ago last time they met.
Although Kolodznik has been wrestling well, Ashnault has been a little better.
Ashnault by dec.
Rutgers up 10-4

157- #14 John Van Brill vs Quincy Monday. Toss up. JVB by dec. JVB has been wrestling better than Monday the past month.
Rutgers up 13-4

165- Stephan Glasgow vs Dale Tiongson- Glasgow been wrestling better of late, knee improving, and against better competition than Tiongson. Glasgow needs to be more aggressive.
Rutgers up 16-4

174- Joe Grello vs Travis Stefanik- Changing my pick here from a few days ago. Whether it's a banged up Grello or overmatched Oliveri, Stefanik by Dec.(and MD over Oliveri)
RU up 16-7

184- Nick Gravina vs Kevin Parker. Since Gravina weighed in last night, I'm slotting him in for tomorrow. Gravina by a close decision.
RU up 19-7

197- Matt Correnti vs #3 Pat Brucki- Brucki by Tech fall. Correnti been getting thrown to his back way too often lately.
RU up 19-12

285- Chris Colluci vs Obinna Ajah- Colucci wins by dec. Colucci could even pin Ajah who's been pinned or TF his last 4 matches.

RU wins 22-12

Big toss ups are 141, 149. 157, 165, 174 (if Grello starts) and 184 if Gravina starts.

149 could be the last bout of the day.

Match being streamed on BTN plus and Flo wrestling (picks ups the BTNplus feed)

125- Metzlar should work on saving us a points keeping this to at least a major decision but it could end up been a tech fall by Glory.

133- Suriano needs to be aggressive going for the tech fall( should have teched the Nebraska kid).

Monday at 157 is good on his feet-JVB needs to step up and put some points on him.

165 could be Lenny Merkin who is not a typical backup - He beat Shommers from Oklahoma state who Glasgow lost too.Time for Glasgow to push through with better lateral movement setting up better shots.He is still not as explosive with the Knee injury.

There's going to be about 7,000 screaming RU fans and maybe 300 PU fans.

If that doesn't get our guys fired up, not sure what will. Plus the Epic match between Schnaulty and Kolo.

Will Schnaulty Be Mobbin ? lol

Will PU Coach Ayres be wearing a disguise after his comments? LOL

Hows the RAC crowd inspired RU so far this season?

The sad part is RU isnt that good and the battle for NJ is much about nothing..

To think an RU loss today means 2 Ivy league schools will be ranked higher. Also, wheres RU gonna be after Ash & NS leave? Wheres the national level depth or recruits?

MVB and Lipari weighed in at 141. Grello and Olivieri weighed in at 174 also as per Kratch.

It’s pretty well known that we had two recruiting classes that were real solid on paper but didn’t pan out. The coaches take the blame for that and now we are seeing the results. We’ve recruited solid again since then and should be ok moving forward. Development needs to really take place though or else we could find ourselves in serious plateau mode

IMO, this still remains to be seen since we haven't really seen anyone from the 2018 class compete on the varsity level yet. Definitely reason to be hopeful with a couple guys, but it's still an unknown.

Makes sense.. but Lipari lost to a stud.. chad red.. whom was a AA last year but is having a inconcistent season this year hence his lower 20 range ranking..
