RU seems to have shot itself in the foot several times. I will take 30-26 but it should be more.

Every time Rutgers gets a small lead Penn State makes a 3 pointer.Half time score Rutgers leads 30-26.

Penn State 16 3 attempts in the first half. Let's hope they don't heat up
Rutgers needs scoring from players other than Mathis and Baker in the second half.
Unless he starts hitting treys, I don't see him playing much next year with improved talent at the guard spot.
And most of them were wide open looks. We need to close our better on threes, because if PSU hits one or two of those in the 2nd half, they could get hot and bury us.

PSU seems to be shooting better on contested 3s than lightly contested 3s.
They will chuck, doubt they really heat up, but they also award more points for 3s so we will need to play clean on offense and take good shots. If we do that, we'll win.

I don’t think it’s overstating things to see these next 20 minutes could play a major role in determining the trajectory of the rest of the season.
Need to stop the turnovers. Offense has been terrible. Spacing sucks. Geo bailed us out in that half.
