Most disappointed I’ve been some Pikiell has been here. Team is going backwards just like last year but the B1G tournament made everyone forget about it.

Than when we need to throw up a shot with 20 secs, we just throw it period. Disgraceful.

Completely forgot about this game. Just tuned in with us down 4 and about 5 minutes to go. Sounds like we played hard and good D, but just couldn't get over the hump. And 15-25 from the line? Ouch.

In fracking believable. Cuts to wrestling with #3 Seriano up 3 to 1 in 3rd and he goes on to lose with a take down as clock expires.

I need to go barf.

Mathis has been a bright spot the last few games. He’s a legit B1G player and can only get better. But we need more good players, no doubt.

Bonus disappointment for those of you who kept BTN on. And more refs screwing Rutgers. I hate this conference
Im hardly a wrestling expert but that looked just as crooked a call as you suggest. Wtf?

Tired of being the Washington Generals of the league.

Thiam is afraid of getting burnt so he plays back and expects his length to contest but he's too far off.

We just can't shoot.

Can’t win a game scoring in the 50s. Had so many chances at the free throw line. It was said, the game will be won or lost at the line. Well we lost it. That’s it. Same old same old
The 3 point shooting was equally horrendous. You are right Rutgers isn't going to win league games scoring 57 points.

This was one of the remaining games where Rutgers had a realistic chance of winning.Northwestern is a mediocre team that gave Rutgers ample chances to take control of the game.Sadly, horrendous foul shooting and abysmal 3 point shooting were the differences in the game.Rutgers inability to make outside shots caused more drives to the basket and missing critical foul shots.Bottom line scoring only 57 points isn't going to result in league wins even at home.

Offense is a mess and these young guys aren't consistent on defense like the last couple years. Like another said, 1 or 2 guys play well every game and everyone else is invisible.

Lots of people playing soft on D and on loose balls. Pike needs to figure out how to get some half court offense. Not sure that he knows how.

Maybe they should redistribute the shots. Mathis 15 and Carter 10. Doorson and Johnson went 2-4 in 37 minutes, no help.
Law and Gaines went 4-19 which is what we had hoped. But Baker and Harper went 5-20. Lost 15 to them from three and a few more on FTs. Any mistakes we make just get multiplied.
Not much cure for playing badly.
