Pike needs to get a technical. Their center cleared Caryer out with a elbow and no call.

someday we will run an explosive offense....40-27..lights out basically, unless we score on every possession, we just will not be able to keep up

It was only a matter of time. Even with Eugene they are toast but the toast might not pop up until the 2nd half.

Hard enough to play against Purdue, without also having to play against the refs.

Its NOT the refs. 1 bad call on the GT..but we have 10 freaking turnovers. And our star another ho hum game.

Mathis playing a great game....13 points

40-30 Purdue, not feeling good at all because how on earth do we stop them. To have any chance to win, RU will have to keep them under 70 so the 2nd half will need a herculean effort on defense.

this....are the posters in this thread really going with the refs thing again..there was a bad goaltending call, other than that its been fine...the turnovers are the issue

Mathis using his legs for his shot, very confident they will drop.

10 at half. Could be better, could be worse.

Myles Johnson has 4 turnovers, obviously struggling with the pace of the game...Baker has 3 tos

what is interesting is that Edwards had 11 when I posted he would go for 40...with just over 14 minutes left, I believe that he did not get another fg...so kudos to adjustments made in shutting him down...he made two free throws but only has 13

Constantly. And flip side, Mathis and Baker have their hands full having to guard that kid. He races around full speed weaving through 15 picks every possession. He gets an inch of daylight and knocks it down.

10 turnovers thats why and we are getting outrebounded 15-14

I almost always say turnovers are a sign of bad coaching, but not in this case. We simply don't have a real point guard, which is typically where our turnovers come from.

Took geo off him and put Mathis and kiss on him. Guys that defend up and don't trail and lunge.
