...we should destroy Minnesota, lol They lost by 20 to OSU, who we beat. We both lost to MD by about the same amount. Hopefully people know I'm kidding about that transitive property thing. Will be tough to beat MN on the road, but I certainly feel a lot better about that game now than I did yesterday. It's just so important to get a good conference win and even better to get one against a top 16 team - especially after losing our best player for the last 3/4 of the game.

Minnesota and Penn State are the one teams in the conference that shoot the 3 nearly as poorly as us... they're not all that good inside either.

They excel at offensive rebounding and getting to the line. Murphy and Coffey have attempted over 210 free throws between the two of them. Conversely, our highest two (Omoruyi and Mathis) have attempted... 93.

Going to be a very tough game on the road. There's almost certainly going to be a huge free throw disparity, so get ready for more ref posts.

The path to victory is going to be hitting 40% of threes while they hit 20% of theirs.

We’re a lot better with Tez in the game.
Defensively it’s night and day, offensively the opposition has to put their best athlete on him and It opens up the floor a little.

Tough game to be without EO. Murphy becomes an even tougher matchup.

I realize the post is in fun, but a more generalized point does apply. For a young team that’s been struggling, I think it’s important that we go in knowing those scores, esp if we get off to a poor start.

Was waiting all year to see Murphy and EO go at it. Sad we won't get to see those two battle it out

Coffey is a strange watch. Sometimes after a half you are like "this guy is unstoppable, first team All American" , then you will be watching second half and with five mins left will be going "where did Coffey go??"

Interesting thought: Prior to yesterday’s game what would you have said RU chances were to beat Minn away without EO? Not so great right? That’s why as RU fans we can’t get too high or too low.

Feels good to have a young core of high major players on the roster that are learning on the job.

Transitive Property:

Rutgers beat Ohio State
Ohio State beat Creighton
Creighton beat Clemson
Clemson beat Radford
Radford beat Texas
Texas beat UNC
UNC beat Gonzaga

We’re Number 1.

Please use the transitive property. It's how UCF claimed a national championship in football last year. That worked out great for them. I'm all for the transitive property.
