Dude - Kenny O’Brian was an all-star when he had time. Most QBs will be at least serviceable when they have time to throw - add a complimentary running game and it creates more opportunity. It starts and ends in the trenches.

Dude, All Rutgers has to do is get a full team of 4 and 5 stars and a great coaching staff and the sky is the limit!

Ya think 100 FBS teams are asking the same question? There's not enough 5* QB's who were perhaps the best HS QB in the country to go around.

This is BS! Dabo Swinney when he took over the program did not have 4 and5's. He built that program and several times the fans were calling for his firing! That is why I am for giving Ash a little more time to see if he can turn this ship around. Honestly, I do not have a ton of confidence that coach ash will get the job done, but I am willing to see if there is improvement this coming season. If they go 2-8 or less than 4-6 I am done. It will be season 4 and there will be no improvement. Anything going forwards will be wasting time.
Dabo didn't start getting 4 and 5 in bulk until he won the NC the first time. After that he started getting pretty much his pick. Rutgers can get four and fives too if we have the right coach and win.

What? You do realize that Tommy Bowden, while certainly not a great coach, went to a bowl game in 8/9 seasons he coached for a full season. And in his 10th season in which he quit after 6 games and Dabo took over the team went to the Gator Bowl. Dabo had a history (Clemson won a national championship in the early 80s) and good players to work with from the start. Some fans were calling for his firing not because he went 1-11 like Ash, but because the team wasn't competing for a national championship every year. Dabo took Clemson to a bowl game every year he has been their HC. While they might not have been getting the best players in the south before this recent run, they always were able to recruit very good players. Not saying we shouldn't give Ash a chance, but apples to oranges comparison between the two situations.

Trevor Lawrence was one of the most sought-after recruits in the country. At least half of the defense will get drafted in the top 3 rounds. Clemson is spending 3X amount that RU spends on coaches. What are you even talking about?

I said it at the start of the season. You don’t start a true frosh on Game 1 unless they are a freak. Art’s no freak. Yet, Deshaun and Trevor are and Dabo had them on the sideline.
