Just a FYI. Roby has a groin issue and is a game time decision. He sat out last game and regardless of play will be limited and will not play as many minutes as usual.

Sagarin agrees with all your picks. Ignore all suggestions that it is too early in the season to use Sagarin.

Not a participant here, but I’ll sure be rooting for MD tonight. Always prefer facing a team off a W than an L.

Watching MD v. Neb game. Both of these teams have size, athleticism, can score from the inside and outside with guards that have handle and are super quick. RU needs to bring its “A” game to pull out victories at this level of competition.

Also 60 pts of offense will not cut it to get victories.

GRF, You also said Ridge would beat Linden and how did that turn out? Three straight years Linden took them to the wood shed.

Winning hoop too easy IMO----no clue why Nebraska went 1-3-1 off the TO

But Huskers lost game at FT Line-----can't miss 9 in close games.

Look at the 57 second clip on ESPN. How badly out of position are the Huskers if that’s a 1-3-1?

Wisconsin deserving of a 10pt fav vs MN? Thats too high.

On the road that sounds about right. Their only two roadies so far have been a 12-point loss to Boston College (who has lost to Hartford and IUPUI) and a 20-point loss to Ohio State.

Minnesota has a lower 3P% than us... chew on that.

true MN can't shoot but they have the bigs to contain Happ, and are very good at getting to the free throw line. Wisconsin doesn't have the defensive backcourt to take advantage of MN's lack of strong point guard.

how about crediting Turgeon for trapping at half court with 4 seconds left

If the kid makes a decent pass to Roby and let him extend to catch it and lay it in Terp fans would have crucified him.

But I agree with pressuring the ball in that situation personally.

What you can't do is double because invariably guys find the open player-------and God forbid he's at the 3 line.

That's what happened to SJU the other night.

Ponds doubled down on the SHU kid and left a guy wide open at the 3 line.

I hate playing a zone in those circumstances ...rather man up and play in the face the take th chance that you play the zone perfect and stop penetration without a good kick option ....

Theoretically the inbounder can be an option in the play, but there were only 4 seconds left. I am guessing the doubler was the guy not assigned to the other 4. Turgeon did not put a guy on the inbounder.

I hear you, but that 1-3-1 was tough. 2 possessions before Cowan got the ball taken from him and it was a layup the other way.
