I have enough thoughts about this game, and a lot of games involving a lot of our teams, and how ****** we come out of the locker room both to start games and to start second-halfs, but I have one question for our head coach right now::

Why the **** didn’t we start pressing earlier? You’re on the road. You’re against an opponent that’s not going to quit. In the gym and playing with rims that are going to give you anything in officials that sucked *** all day. You’re down and not playing well. So why not do something different on that court today, when there was actually time left to make a difference, instead of waiting until there was 3-minutes left in the ******* game to press? What the **** kind of coaching is that? AWFUL!!

Yes, the team look like they weren’t in it from the beginning, whether some of them weren’t feeling well or not I don’t know, but that’s beside the point. We did nothing, absolutely nothing coaching wise, to make a difference in the second half and that’s downright embarrassing.

We are bad on offense. Chill out. We’re not as good as some of you would like to think.

I never said we were good on offense. Read my post again: if you’re not doing well and can’t do anything on I to make it up then change something on defense to change the flow of the ******* game!!

Pretty simple! Make a ******* attempt at least which we did not do until the final three minutes of the game!

Honestly, I really don’t care. Big mistake by Pike not pressing, but I’m not gonna lose my mind because we’re inept

we had fools talking NCAA during the first half of Michigan State game...RU is still in the bottom 4 schools in the Big 10 and maybe the worst
Exactly. We’re gonna play a lot of close games in the B1G, but we can’t score so we’ll have a lot moral victories and pay ourselves on the back, but we really need young and Mulcahy next year. Geo is out of position this and will be until someone else can play point

Word coming out of the Bronx is that Hobbs may be hiring Fordham’s soccer coach to take over the reins here. If so, that would be an excellent hire, one of the top candidates out there that we were looking at, and maybe he can keep us from losing the Fordham I’m at least 1 sport LOL!!

Honestly I really hope we hear that half the team is coming down with the flu because that’s the only thing that’s gonna make me feel remotely better about today. I’m just flabbergasted right now sorry guys!

Today, Pike seemed to coach like he really is from the Hobbs tree of not having sports IQ

Relax people . It’s a wtf loss . It happens . Signs are there that pike is building this right. This is a throw away year . Next year we will see if pike is really the “closer” or not. He needs to show it in the win in column in year 4, not year 3

Don’t you think maybe a little bit of this is on the players?

Read my OP again. We didn’t play well, no question, But when you have more talent on paper it’s up to the coaching staff to do something to make changes during the flow of the game that will affect the outcome of the game. Our head coach in our coaching staff did not do that in my humble opinion.

Also, if you followed my post throughout the game thread, you will see that I put plenty on the players as well EARLIER in the game.

Nuts is absolutely right. What does size matter if you don't use it. Last game we never put Happ on the line end game, where's the strategy , in game adjustments, and end game push to finish.
When you're not a great scoring team, you have to figure things out. Not just via line up, but what the players are supposed to do and not do.
B1G teams aren't like city ball where players just play. Its a coaching league more.

I think when guys like Geo, Kiss and Eugene are struggling..pike has to trust his freshmen talent to help the team....interesting how effective Harper was toward the end
