Wisky starting to heat up so good timeout there..need a good possesion here and defensive stop...if we can be up 7 at half that would be huge tonight

Carter went from one or two minutes against sisters of the poor at the end of game to dominating the paint vs the #12 team in the country

Both playing quite well. Makes one wonder why they didn't get more time against the cupcakes, but obviously Pike knows more than I do, lol...

Another low scoring defensive battle. I think we better get used to these high blood pressure heart attack kinds of games. Gotta love it.

31-26. I will take it. Gard will make adjustments in 2nd half and you know Happ is going to be getting the ball alot and they will be looking to draw fouls

Not sure you can expect RU to play any better than they are right now. Again key is not turning the ball over and wasting offensive possessions

Our defense is outstanding tonight

So what to do about Happ? He’s having his way down low. I guess the strategy is to let our bigs play him one on one, and prevent him from kicking out for a wide open three.

We’ll be fine on fouls. It did not hurt us in the first half and in fact it may have helped. No one has more than 2 fouls and we have plenty of depth.

That no call was ridiculous. You can’t tell me they don’t try to protect certain players.

I will certainly take 31-26 especially given the foul disparity which could have hurt more. Lots of good stuff going on. Need to keep it up and weather the likely push coming from the Badgers.

I'll take up 5 at the half (would have preferred up 10, though).

Rutgers needs to come out strong to start the second half. And we need to keep the pressure on Happ. Even keeping him under control in the first half, he scored 8. He'll be more trouble in the second half as our legs get tired.

Really like Carters offensive game in the post. Seeing him and McConnell emerge has me even more excited for this team.

Looks like I’m not the only one who saw that. That’s the type of stuff that angers me because it’s called against us all the time

Can we find a way to win the second half? Coach has the players to do it tonight. We’re defending great and making enough shots. This could be a nailbiter...

refs suck-wis doesn't need help and it will make a difference--like the non walk call against msu--we need all the breaks we never get--maybe it will even out someday to our advantage

One of the best defensive halves we have ever played against a quality opponent. We are faster, quicker, and more athletic than the Badgers. Keep playing that defense and keep on being aggressive going to the hoop. Geo and Kiss should have double digits this half. Eugene or Myles or Shaq Carter on the block should go right at Happ. Keep on defending the three and this is a comfortable win.
