Ash must feel like he just won the Super Bowl going in tied at half. Total gutless move taking a knee with 15 seconds and 2 timeouts.
Thought we only had one TO but still should have tried to get into FG range.

Lack of communication and also what the hell was he doing out there without looking for the ball?

Agree. Hampton is an experienced senior and shouldn't have been even close to where that ball was bouncing around.

What does that even mean? I want him gone too but in this game where is the inept coaching?
Lack of a running game for one. Also, any other team would be blowing this piss poor MSU team out of the water and we are allowing them to hang around. Oh, and after I made this post Ash decides to run into the locker room rather than take a shot downfield. What the F does a 1-10 team have to lose at this point? Absolutely inept and gutless.

Hampton's mistake was his. He has been playing football his entire life and started over 20 games for RU.

lack of a running game? The Nebraska guy wrote how hard it is to run versus this team.

I’m not usually a fan but tell me (1) how we’d magically have a line that holds long enough for us to take a shot, (2) who of our receivers will actually be good for 15 seconds and find a way to catch, and (3) how we would actually catch it, close enough to attempt a kick, and make it from like 50 yards. Hate ash but a knee is the right call.

I thought the Hampton miscue would be the bonehead play that loses us the game. Luckily got bailed out by the botched FG attempt.

Like I posted earlier.

If your defense can keep the pressure on MSU will commit some dumb penalties. They struggle to keep their mouths shut and not take cheap shots. They can help themselves implode.

Would like to see some wildcat, too - despite Gio's drop last week, he's at least a thread out at WR...

You do know that MSU defense is #1 against the run

MSU will change defensive scheme in 2nd half, GIO will get hit more often..he needs to hold onto the ball.

Not sure which of our Off units are the worst....O line, WR or QB... when all 3 are the worst in all of D1 football, that's not a good combo.
