I'm awful with technology and don't want to pay for BTN+. Will there be a separate way to stream this game online?

What local NJ tv station? Christie stopped funding NJN which was the only station within NJ that focused on NJ. Back in the day, that's how you saw some basketball and football games for Rutgers and Princeton.
Cable tv could generate new fans, build the brand.
People already pay a lot for cable, they don't want to spend another $10 per month for btn plus

25 of 30 games are televised, and for $10 you can get the 3 BTN Plus games from November. Or you can listen for free on the radio.

No, they actually can't. The Big Ten controls all games where a Big Ten school is the home team and the TV contract doesn't allow for the scenario you described.
Real shame that most (maybe all) tapes of those games from the 1975-76 season were lost. I am guessing that BTN got footage for the documentary from the opposing teams' broadcasts. They did a great job piecing together footage under the circumstances.
True, but it's only an issue for handful of low profile non-conference games. Michigan State, for example, has only one game on BTN+. Nebraska has 3. We have 5. So it's dependent on the level of team you are.
Once we're out of last place and winning this won't be as much of a problem. Will be no more than 3 games per year in this scenario.
