I'm awful with technology and don't want to pay for BTN+. Will there be a separate way to stream this game online?

It's a shame that Rutgers and FDU, two NJ schools couldn't have the game broadcasted on a local NJ tv station.

What local NJ tv station? Christie stopped funding NJN which was the only station within NJ that focused on NJ. Back in the day, that's how you saw some basketball and football games for Rutgers and Princeton.

Cable tv could generate new fans, build the brand.

People already pay a lot for cable, they don't want to spend another $10 per month for btn plus

Rutgers always misses out

UConn vs. Morehead State was on MSG last night. You're telling me SNY, YES, MSG, MSG+ or some other random sports channel couldn't pick up this game?

No, they actually can't. The Big Ten controls all games where a Big Ten school is the home team and the TV contract doesn't allow for the scenario you described.

Real shame that most (maybe all) tapes of those games from the 1975-76 season were lost. I am guessing that BTN got footage for the documentary from the opposing teams' broadcasts. They did a great job piecing together footage under the circumstances.
