Has to sit out and then we'll have more than enough guards next year. The days of walkons like Dadika and Batie playing actual minutes should be behind us now.
I have no idea if this kid's going to be a D-1 player or not, but I love his attitude and I also like that he's a true point guard who loves to dish the ball. I hope Pike has found a gem.
Yes, he may not play much in actual games, but this is how you a build a program. You need guys willing to work hard and push other guys in practice. Also, helping other players get acclimated to NJ off the court is huge too. Guys like this can help with overall team chemistry.
Exactly. Good for practice but shouldn't see game time. Geo Young Mulcahey McConell all can play PG. If he sees meaningful minutes that's a very very bad sign
I love his attitude and that he's been following the program since Gary Waters' era.
I’m not sure he will stay a walk on. Don’t sell this kid short. I know his parents and remember him being a very good player at Rutgers Prep and he loved Rutgers but I don’t think he got a scholarship offer. He’s a bit on the small side but hopefully some good strength and conditioning will really help and he is a pure point guard, which you can never have to many of. Lots of upside potential here with very little downside if any. Great addition by Pike.
