On any given pass play, there’s three possible receivers. They’re all blanketed. Like that INT in the endzone. When the camera pulls back, all the receivers are covered. There was no one for Art to go to.
One of the biggest issues I have with receivers is when they know the ball not coming their way. There is little hustle on their part and they don't realize the impact it has on the play.

The ball can be advanced through the air, and we still aren’t sure how to address that dimension of the game.

Our defense looked great when Indiana started running a vanilla playbook. Otherwise, nope.

And on queue, the defense continues its weak play after offense gives some hope. Just disappointing.

Well, maybe that’s why he’s on D. You know our receivers can’t catch either right?

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, his job isn’t to catch the ball. But that’s the second or third to hit him in the hands this year—catching that ball would be helpful.

Sorry, I know what you mean. Sigh...just frustrated.

This will be the USF in 2013 for Chris Ash.

Backing into a competitive game will save his job.

Then again, if the November schedule lives up to the brutality it should deliver, he may not survive if his team puts up 4 goose eggs.

Just no touch on the long ball and bad direction sometimes. You don't learn those things, it's inherent or not. But he has thrown some good balls today.

IU is not that good on D, don't be deceived here. IU has also been inconsistent on O all year. I'm telling you, Gio wins this game for us

Unreal we have to call another TO because the WR's can't get lined up properly. Would have been illegal formation if the ball was snapped.

Rutgers burning timeout...almost assures if they score will have to try an onside kick,

ON the penalty for a pick.....RU WR looked wide open, why did Sit throw deep?

nope, we lose all the rest of our games and that is the statistic that will be remembered. Hobbs needs to figure a way out of this mess

Indiana coach excellent use of a timeout. Killed all momentum. Opposite of our coach timeout management

RU needs to keep an offensive coordinator for a few season.
McNulty has a proven record at RU and other stops.

At least we are in the game 4th qtr.
