Just thought it was funny. He would repeat the story every time The Mick's name was mentioned. I still worshiped the guy.
It's why I never understand that boi love for these guys. Many of them are seriously flawed individuals. They are just entertainers at the end of the day. Nothing more.
It's a parents job to teach them. I see it a lot with musicians up close and personal. The adulation they get is unwarranted and weird.
No need to keep going back and forth but remember it was 55 or more years ago. Different times.

Talking heads say Finau UNLESS Schauffele or Kisner win this week then it may be up in the air. Then again they mentioned the possibility of Keegan Bradley which I don't understand at all.
Along with David Duval and Zach Johnson. I think Duval replaces Tiger who was asked back in January.
It looks like Tiger is going to shoot 59 or better today. He will win by at least 6 shots this week.

Just think for a moment about our track record here on this site with our RU teams pulling off an upset, PSU being upset, MLB pitchers about to pitch a no hitter, etc. It might be silly, but he was -7 thru 10 holes when I posted what I did.

Surprised that players didnt make adjustments today with the softer greens. So many shots way short. They need to fire at the pin. Balls are stopping on a dime. More rain tonight. A 59 is possible tomorrow unless the winds pick up a lot. This course doesn't play to its supposed length of 7,200 yards. Course is in perfect conditions
I love the look of the course from what I can see on TV. Wide rolling fairways with a lot of traps. My favorite type of course.
It is very pleasing to the eye. Beautiful place. Big *** fairways, big greens. Much more hilly than it appears on TV but these guys are hitting wedge on most holes. Got to get the ball to the hole. Amazed that anyone is struggling today. Had tickets available to go anyday (Michalob Ultra is a major sponsor) but will be at Navy game tomorrow. Parking was an issue during the week but many surrounding corporate parks will be available during the weekend. Should have huge crowds this weekend.
This tourney is a perfect example of where we are. Tiger is playing as well as can be expected and still getting outplayed by a number of younger guys, all of whom have the game or more than he does now.
