Anybody going? Making the trip down with a few people. Bought a parking pass for lot 11b (much cheaper than Rutgers at $17!) Was going to see if anyone here wanted to roll down there and set up a multi-spot tailgate for the game.

Where did you buy the parking pass? We are going and staying at a local hotel on Friday night.

pre-gaming in the hotel room won't be so bad

Well, no reason not to start in the hotel room, but I'm sure there are a couple watering holes you can hit on the walk toward campus. Looney's is a typical sports/college bar a block or so from the main entrance.

Come again? Calling Byrd a dump is being kind. Xfinity Center for hoops OTOH, pretty nice venue.

I laughed, too. But I'm just there for the football, saw my first game there in about 1973, so it's good enough for me...

Does UM provide a bus service or Knightingale type service from their parking lots on game day?

The regular campus shuttle buses will be running. Don't know the current policy, but you might need a student/university id to board. There is no dedicated shuttle service designed to move people from the lots to the stadium. And with traffic, it will almost certainly be faster to walk anyway. If you are making the trip, I bid you safe travels. Enjoy the game.

Interesting, I thought they did have the buses picking up near some of the lots and over to Xfinity for hoops games. Perhaps it wasn't a dedicated bus service, per se, but I know I got onto a bus near one of the outer lots and it basically went straight to Xfinity. Must have gotten lucky to get onto whatever regular campus bus it was that was heading in that direction. In any case, didn't need to present any type of UMd-affiliated ID whatsoever.
