Kid's a four star. He can be great here if he puts in the work. Even this year

Not for nothing but every high school kid that goes D1 is a big time talent locally.
I don't watch much high school football but remember watching PJ Walker in high school and thinking how in the world could Rutgers not offer this kid. Told myself the coaches must know better. Turns out my instincts were right.

Just a silly anecdote, but identifying football talent isn't rocket science and coming from a coach, this does hold some weight.

Didn't know I had to say, I believe the kid is a four star. Sorry you had to do a ton of research and feel the need to share the rating services ranked him a three star. Seems strangely obsessive, but to each their own.

Took a total of 10 seconds. I knew he was 3 star on 247 and Rivals, took5 secs to look up his ESPN rating.
Just don’t see the need to lie or exaggerate subjective ratings. Once they get on campus , ratings don’t matter anyway.
He’ll start August as the 3rd string RB most likely behind Hilliman and Blackshear. Let’s hope he becomes a star. PS- he played mostly QB last year, although he ran from the QB position .

Be careful--ESPN ratings services is aces.
Remember their last 4 star RU recruit, #184 in the ESPN 300, and a fan favorite?

That said, I think Pacheco is going to tear it up here and set records.

He looked very impressive during the spring game. Looked to be the most explosive RB on the team.

Yep, that's basically what I said after the spring game. Can't see him not getting carries unless he has blocking or ball security issues...

Fabricated Facts ???? Read the upper right portion of your own Link. Rated at #35 in the position nationally . I’ll take that for a RB recruit anyday.

You had claimed ESPN gave him 4 stars. They actually gave him 3. As you can easily see at the top right of the link I attached.

To be fair ...he is a high 3 star recruit that a few people writing for the various web sites were in the opinion that he should have been a 4 star and under ranked

I’m glad to have him...could be a 1000 yard back his sophomore year

I never claimed no such statement. You have me confused with somebody else. I did say ESPN Rankings have him as the #35 ranked RB. Which is a fact.

Pacheco is probably our best recruit of this last class and will be a very productive player...if he is extremely athletic maybe he could even move over to LB or DB where I really see some depth concerns

Need him much more at RB IMHO.
We have Hillman for this Season only.
In 2019 all we have is RB Blackshear. Need Pacheco as well.

Can he throw at all? Would be an interesting play package for McNulty to have a RB who can throw.

I been saying all along don’t sleep on Trey Sneed...we need help on defense so I can see either Pacheco or Lacewell moving to that side of the ball...

Pacheco will be a B1G RB that will be successful. No knock on Trey but it will be like night and day. You will see.

You realize the same posters were saying the same thing about Snead after his freshman year right? He redshirted last year only because we had Hicks, Martin and Edwards and we didn’t need to waste a year for him to he 4th string...

Pacheco is a great athlete - high school QB...IMO he could move over to defense if the staff felt that’s where he can make an immediate impact whether he does or not is not the point it’s that someone as athletic as he could be a candidate to move to see the field earlier
