I just saw an email about early renewals for basketball season tickets. Is it known how many home games we will have this season? Last season was crazy with 22. What is known thus far with the home schedule? Any dates set?

Ok thanks. So it looks like 17 or 18 home games for this coming season.

10 B1G home games
1 B1G/Big East challenge home game
6-7 smaller schools at home

17 or 18 would be a be blesinng. I hope it's true. 22 games with that horrid OOC schedule was brutal last season. I never "ate" so many of my tickets as I did last season.

I actually enjoy going to the non conference games against the kenpom 300s. In November I miss basketball, we get to watch new faces, and even I start getting unrealistic thoughts about what the team could be. I am almost never negative about the team in November.

Yeah, and there's usually a few interesting stories connected to those teams like Donyell Marshall coaching Central Connecticut State and that guy from Manalapan who hurt us two years in a row (not so fun this year). But I can't completely agree with you since we threw in some real WTF losses in the OOC last year.

It’s just December through October!

On the road vs Fordham, Seton Hall, UMass and the B1G/ACC challenge...so that's 4 right there.

2 less non conference games because the league went to a 20 game format...so ten home league games means 10 away as well

That leaves 7 games (or even fewer if we dont play an exempt event) to be scheduled, meaning the max amount of home games would be 17
