Well the ride home was slow but safe. Lit a cigar and didn't care how long it took me to arrive safely. It is dynamically different in Bucks County. Heavy snow. Trees packed with it and heard big limbs snapping while I finished cigar in driveway. Praying that I keep power.

My magnolia took a beating here in Bucks county.

Updated maps - given the slow start for many of us along 95 from at least the Brunswicks up through Newark, I'm surprised the NWS increased total snowfall amounts for us again. Although looking at the radar and the absolute puking snowfall rates right now, maybe it's not a bad call.

Just had to go out and brush off my cable line. It was hanging about 8' from the ground. After brushing it off it popped back up. Only seems about 4" here in Hamilton but man is it heavy. Super heavy stuff, hopefully the snowblower can perform through this. I shoveled a little and it sucked.

In Bridgewater it went from nothing to many many inches in just around 3 hours. Wife went to an appointment at 1:30 with no trouble. Coming home she hit multiple closed roads due to trees and power lines down. We must be getting 2 inches plus per hour of heavy, wet snow. Tree branches falling everywhere. Lucky there is no wind.

Northampton county PA e(east of Allentown) isn’t getting anywhere near the 12-14 the map shows. Won’t get half that at this rate.

Sorry, did not look that far, but absolutely correct. Seemed there was a slot from Philly to Morristown and extending as far East as Freehold.

Overall across the board it has compared to the projected maps.

We have about 5 inches here in Philly and it's already melting on the roads.

It also failed in the Lehigh Valley but over performed in Bucks.

It looks to me to Cherry Hill that the storm overperformed here. It did a lot of damage to a large tree in the backyard; there is a big crack in the tree. We had a couple of thunderclaps earlier, and the snow semed to be falling very quickly. I had thought that Cherry Hill would end up busting because it looked close to the rain/snow line, but that didn't happen.

In Ramsey, we had 2-3 inches on grass and shrubs before it started to stick on the pavement. We now have about 4 inches on the driveway and still snowing steadily.

After another hour, despite constant snow, I still had 4 inches (it was compacting. ). Now after just another hour, 6.5. Wow!

my son will appreciate that. he lives in Hellertown but is skiing at Whister in British Columbia right now...

Branches broken in practically every yard around me in SB in the last couple hours. I'd say it's going to pass that 5-6 inches now because of how much it picked up in the last couple hours. It's crazy how much it's picked up just in 2 hours from not much to something significant.

I'd say it did pretty good job here in Ringoes...still pounding. and as I am posting this a tree large branch just came down and took out the canopy frame on my back deck....oh boy. getting bad.

and in case anybody thought I was BSing about the canopy frame...

Just got out to clear snow about an hour ago here in Neshanic, and there was about 10" on the driveway when I started - really heavy snow, tough to move. After an hour, there was another 1" behind me where I'd started, and it's still coming down.

I'd imagine on the grass, there's more, because we had 2-3" already on the grass before the driveway even started to stick. Haven't waded out into it to get a measurement.
