ugh that was a bad last possesion by Wisky and thats credit to Izzo on how great he is as coach, they smothered the Wisky guard and it was just alot of struggle by Wisky in that last possesion that went nowhere....

give credit to Wisky for finishing the season well. Expect them to be a bubble team next year. Their style and defense can be tough in this league. Meanwhile MSU doesnt wack teams on the head but they play exactly the kind of defense that can do very well in the NCAA tourney

Watching that game I start to wonder where we fit in next year. Wisconsin is going to be a good team next year.

thank goodness for little Ricky (he is back to little Ricky having an implosion 3 out of 4 years) we have a team i expect to be better than

see thats the issue. Its encouraging to watch RU the past two nights and what could be with more offensive options. However RU fans tend to see things in a vacuum. There are 13 other Big 10 schools and they all have played top competition close, so measuring our progress to theirs. How far can RU move up in the league. Still a tough slog up.

Minnesota could be back next year. Iowa will be better but how consistent and if they dont start playing D, Fran is gone, Illinois should be better but how much. Northwestern I think has some recruits but they could be spotty.. Those look like the teams that RU has a chance to pass in the standings but not much seperating any of these.

If Jackson and Fernando stay at Maryland they will be national title contenders next year. Same thing with Michigan if Wagner stays. They both have solid nucleus returning and awesome recruiting classes. Also don't know if they showed it on tv, but Davidson at end of game was in tears and Greg Gard had to console him. Mich state will still be sparty despite losing bridges and Jackson. Nebraska will be good. Others that will contend are penn state if Carr stays. Others good squads will be Ohio state, Purdue. Will be a better league next year

Michigan will be a tough out in the NCAA tourney

its now or never time for Nebby....if they do not win they are totally at the mercy of the selection committee to overlook the paltry resume and focus on non criteria like eye tests and conference record

I agree Nebraska is out by objective measures. They better pray somebody on the committee is enamored with their record.

costly missed opportunity...BUT because the schools around the bubble have a lot of losses or not very many quality wins, Nebraska could sneak in. The worst part for them is that all these schools still have more opportunities to play their way in but Nebraska does not

Nebraska done. They had their chance. They looked like us during the regular season today. Couldn't shoot. No ball movement

So long as Turgeon is the coach, Maryland won't sniff a championship of any kind. That man has to go. I think we're all fed up with him and annoyed that we're stuck with him for at least two more years.
