my feed lagged out during the long delay, anyone have a sequence of what happened during play and the delay?
Looked like Fitz had ball after whistle. Wisky player had hands straight up and kept walking directly into Fitz snarkly. Scaife got in her face and then a little yelling and it got broken up. Tech on Wisc for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Very good win as I expected. We dominated Wisconsin in the second half as we should. But what is still concerning is getting off to such slow starts. Who knows but maybe Stringer should play aggressive defense in the first quarter. Make a basket and immediately go into the 55. That way I think our women won't have to think and can just relax and play basketball. Something has to be done. Will all else being equal there is no reason we should be starting so slowly nearly every game we play.

Can someone tell me why we don't see Fitzpatrick more out there? Tonight she made three three's and those shots were very important in our come back. We really need someone to stick it out there. I know Nigia and Ciani can stick a three every now and then, but I'd like to see more of Fitzpatrick out there.
I haven't seen many games, but my impression - it could be wrong and I'm certainly willing to be corrected - is that she pretty much hasn't done much shooting when she has been in and doesn't contribute anything special if she isn't draining 3's.
i would agree. She does play her heart out playing defense and doesn't hurt you by making bad decisions / turnovers. Other than last night, her shooting has been inconsistent. Maybe the Wisconsin game will get her rolling.
