Let's buckle up,folks. The rest of the season is going to be pretty brutal. Without Williams and Omoyuri, the soul is not on the floor. I know what to expect, so I won't be surprised. It is not gloom and doom, and the future is still bright. We just have to be realistic with what the team has now.

Maybe Haas and some of his buddies will need to stay in Indiana due to backed up school work. Then maybe we can keep it close. :)

Otherwise, I agree there will be be pain.

No pain, no gain. Onward and upward for the rest of this year and next.

Good news, at least it's a sell out. Bad news, most will be leaving at halftime with that same old sinking feeling. Will this ever get turned around.

Like Adrian Monk used to say, "it's a blessing...and a curse". A blessing that the RAC will be packed but a curse that the full house is poorly timed to watch a team in a free fall with the added problem of being down three players. Let's hope a rowdy crowd inspires the team to keep it close at least for the half.

It depends on how hard Purdue put the pedal to the metal

Unlike Illinois they expect to win and dont have much to prove

All I know is that 2 years ago Pinder left his starters in almost the entire game. We had many guys out with injuries and had almost no height at all. Purdue played volleyball on the backboards as Grier and Williams were guarding guys 7'0" and 6'10". The Purdue fan next to me was going crazy. It was about the worst example of sportsmanship that I have ever seen by any team. I think we only had 6 or 7 scholarship players dressed. Pinder just ran it up all day on us. I would hope he would play everyone tomorrow.

Rutgers Wrestling just turned a much tougher task before a sellout home crowd into a positive experience. It's all about the effort. That's all you can ask. $$$$

The box score I'm looking at had 11 guys play between 14 and 21 minutes, and no one more than that. Were they supposed to put the managers in? Of course, you may be talking about another game since I don't know who this Pinder guy is.

I think you'll play us tough enough tomorrow that it won't be an issue, but if not just realize we only have 11 players and two of those are walk-ons.

We have consistently gone through 5+ minutes scoring droughts. If that happens today... oooof.
