enough with the sky is falling. Were decimated right now and relying on 2 freshman to play big minutes and corey who has no space to do anything and a 6’5 freeman who plays out of control.

Relaxxxx. Reinforcements are coming, were fine, pike is the long term answer

Mensah, Bullock, and Doorson all need to go. If Pikiell can't bring in guys that will be more productive than them then I'll have to seriously question his recruiting ability.

Yes, I too think this team is a bubble CBI team next year, provided everything falls into place.

What an overreaction. It's a bad stretch..chill out. The guys we have coming in blow the guys you mention out of the water. I must've missed the part where he brought in doorson. And you conveniently don't mention the two productive big ten starters he brought in..baker and Eugene.

Nope i did not. Every year i lay out HOW we can go dancing, what the blueprint would be. Never said it would happen

Actually, there is a good chance that we take a step back next year.

We lose Williams, Freeman, Sa, and probably Sanders and replace them with freshman and a JUCO as of now. Most of the league has recruited better than us as of now and our schedule will be tougher.

Next year we have a pretty damn legit roster.

Back court- Sanders, Geo, Mathis, Issa, Kiss
Front court-Eugene, Duke, Shaq Carter, Shaq Doorson, Myles Johnson,

Redshirt- ron harper
Bench-souf
Transfer- Bullock

If we can land a grad transfer that can simply shoot 33% from 3 land we are a legit bubble team. Id break down the 200 minutes a game as follows +/- a few minutes or so here and there

Starting 5 denoted with *
Sanders- 30*
Geo-25*
Mathis-25*
Issa-15
Kiss-10
Grad transfer-18
Eugene-25*
Shaq carter-27*
Duke-15
Doorson-8
Myles Johnson-5

Are freeman and sa not replaceable? Imo what were bringing is is considerable upgrades over freeman and sa. Williams is a scrapper and one of my favorite RU athletes of all time because of how hard he plays. However, hes very replaceable, he never got his shot down and i have a feeling that kiss can be a sparkplug of energy off the bench for 10-12 mins a game

I’m expecting Carter to be an upgrade over Freeman. I’m just saying that the league should be stronger next year, our OOC schedule will be tougher and if we lose Sanders and Williams and replace them with freshman, it’s far from a guarantee that we will be better.

I expect at least one player to transfer out and
I hope we can add another JUCO or grad transfer.

I’m a glass half full kind of guy, but that roster is not as good as you think it is. We do this every year. We over rate our talent. Let’s just work on 5-8 B1G wins first

Oh man! We lose Williams who we aren't getting contributions from this year anyway, sa who is basically a below average big ten bench player, and Freeman who keeps making knuckleheaded play after play. And where exactly do you think Sanders is going with how he has been playing?

We will be on the bubble next tear? In which parallel
universe is this supposed to occur? Because it certainly is not going to happen in our realm.

Where I think sanders is going is Europe but who knows. We did this same exercise last year and most people overrated this team. I also got caught up in it and predicted about a .500 season. .500 is a pipe dream now and that’s including the most ridiculous OOC schedule this side of Georgetown.

The point is we could easily have more talent next year and take a step back record wise. Last I checked, one reputable service had our recruiting class ranked 11th or 12th in the B1G.

We have a 7 foot starter Doucore who can barely stay on the court 18 minutes due to fouls who yanks down a paltry 3 rebs, 3 turnovers & ZERO points vs Illinois
We have to be able to find someone better than that to start

Sa 0-0
Dadika 0-0
Smith 0-0
Doorson 0-1
Eugene 0-1
Doucour 0-0
Mensah 1-3
7 players with 69 minutes of playing time that went 1-6 combined shooting with 10 turnovers

Heck even Bullock went 4-6 (8 pts) in 12 minutes of playing time

We just got CREAMED by the worst team in the B10
We need more talent

If Shaq Carter plays 27 minutes a game next year, we are in big big trouble. Hes averaging 8 and 7 right now, in Juco. He can't shoot free throws either. Also, I see no reasonable likelihood that Sanders is back. He will be in Europe next year, chilling with the Ball Brothers.

We're a bubble team if we have the bubble group do a few halftime shows next year. They're quite entertaining.

It would take a solid addition to the roster that we do not know about at this time (like you mentioned maybe a grad transfer can take a spot), Corey Stays, and we avoid major injuries. If and only if those 3 occur then I agree we are a bubble team.

I think he'll play around that amount of time next year. He seems to be a really good finisher down low and a true big man. I think Corey will be in Lakeland, Florida pursuing music before he goes to europe. Corey is music or nba imo, doesn't seem like he likes the idea of europe.

Lol

Half of the people are screaming bubble team half screaming 14 place. Am I the only one who thinks it's neither? That roster is a solid .500 team and if things play out right we could get 18-19 wins which will put us in the NIT bubble. Which would be great in my opinion.
