Watching the news this morning all I see is Eagles players out yesterday at the mall, the car dealer, the bookstore, the sporting goods store. All doing autograph signings and shaking hands with their fans. Likely catching the flu at the same time.

Do you think the Pats are out at the mall 7 days before the superbowl doing autograph signings?

If the Pats lose it will be because the eagles have a killer d-line and Brady is a statue in the pocket I'm sure the gronk will play but just don't think he will be effective

The Pats are over, locker room divided between TB12 inc. and Coaching staff

Dude....The Pats know how to handle the 2 weeks prior to the SB. The Eagles don't. Stuff like this? Trivial for a dynasty as such. Can The Eagles win, sure, but it's not gonna be due to a "divided" Pats locker room.

Just one of the many factors, I just believe it’s bigger than people realize. I honestly believe Bill resigns no matter the result of the SB, Brady pissed him off and the owner didn’t side with him

I'll tell ya what the Patriots have got to do to ensure the Eagles lose: score more points than they do.

There are no differences when you are winning...
Yeah, I think that stuff is overblown and doesn't matter now with the Super Bowl at stake. It may be something to keep an eye on in the offseason. Brady and Belichek value winning above all else and they can put any conflict aside for now.

Want the Pats to Win and put rings on RU fingers. That being said,Foles is playing at a much higher level than how Broles played and he almost beat NE. IMO it will be a highly contested game. I don't make predictions(weather or otherwise).

I don't mind the Eagles signing autographs and mingling with the fans. The Eagles lost All-Pro Jason Peters, Darren Sproles, Jordan Hicks and a ST ace - in addition to Wentz - and the coaches and players haven't panicked. They are cool as cucumbers. This is not going to be an Andy Reid/McNabb epic failure. If the Eagles lose, they simply got beaten by a better team. It will have nothing to do with signing autographs.

Continuing the mindless commentary. The Eagles and Pats have only one goal: to go 1-0 this week. Amazing what the game of football learned from Kyle. We were so lucky to have him. Thanks Tim.

Kraft was on the morning CNBC show today and indicated that the Garapolo move was about salary cap, period. He said that is just the way the NFL is today.

Do I buy that? ehhh.. maybe. Win or lose it might be an interesting off-season. I see no reason why Belichick and Brady would get this close to another championship and not do everything in their power to win it. Same goes for everyone else.

I really hope I am wrong because I dislike the Eagles almost as much as I dislike Penn State. However, they have a pass rush comparable to the Giants teams that beat Brady in two SB's. I am taking the Eagles to win outright.

Well at least they are not out on a boat, with a famous druggie.

For what it is worth, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philly have a bet with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston. Loser to make a charitable donation to the other orders charity. However, the Sisters in Philly believe they are on the winning side because the eagle is mentioned at least 34 times in the bible, zero mention of any patriot. So, according to the nuns in Philly, God is on their side.

Just wondering, OP...how does Belichick taking in the Twolves game last night jive with your theory?
