No inside info, but since he's a CA kid....maybe he's growing inside someone else's body.

Pikiell said Johnson has lost 22 pounds and will be game-ready next season. In fact, he said he would probably be an effective inside scorer for us if he were playing right now. However, he thought it was important for him to improve his body and get acclimated to his engineering major, which he is doing with a 3.75 GPA.

It's better than growing out of his body, which I have been doing and have a closet full of clothes that no longer fit me to prove it.
