Penned a thread on her last year. She is now a senior and is the leading scorer on her hoops team locally.Her other uncle, my nephew ,passed away a few months ago and he went to every one of her games for 3 years.Now he will never see her last year playing the game my entire family played and loved. I am his surrogate now.
It is a true joy.

Hig The young ladies get better every year. They can shoot and hustle and actually shoot foul shots better than the boys do. They truly enjoy the game and the camaraderie and are tougher than ever as well.

That is the best thing about youth sports. How they bring people together, how kids stay healthy, and it has the potential to provide them with a good opportunity if they get good enough.

Their crowds are what ours were like 45 years ago in Highland Park before demographics sucked the life out of us..I played basketball and baseball and enjoyed every moment and these young girls seem to have that same joy of the games. Makes an old man happy.

The ladies HS Hoops in Monmouth County is probably the best in the state

The boys are just so so------Vianney , St Rose , Manasquan are all Top 10 teams.

Monmouth is all about the girls except Rumson is usually good and Ranney.

Mater Dei drilled Ranney twice last year and is still a good club.

You're right Rumson has a good team.

Squan has a nice team this year too.
