We should be ranked after this

Arizona and Sean Miller are the most amazing example of this. Treated like a blue-blood but not even close to being worthy.

True. I also noticed that UVA and Miami, both admittedly good teams, are very highly ranked, yet neither has beaten a team that is currently in the top 25. (At least Miami’s Win n at Minnesota was impressive at the time it was played. UVA lost to the only ranked team it has played [WVU] and it’s best win is Rhode Island.). That’s why I wish they would get rid of preseason rankings. Teams are in the top 25 this year of year not because of what they have done, but because of what people think they will do.

If we beat Stony Brook, Hartford and Wisc, would we get ranked then? 13-3 with wins over Hall and Wisc...

I'm very happy with this year so far, but there is LOL no way we should be ranked in the top 25.

We have played 4 games against teams in the top 200 and are 1-3 in those games.

Top 200? All those 4 teams are more like Top 30, and we had 1 win and 2 close losses.

I disagree that Minnesota is top 30, but that isn't my point. My point is that the other opponents were all really bad, i.e. outside the top 200.

Losing close games to Florida St and Michigan St, and beating Seton Hall is encouraging, but it's not exactly a case for being in the top 25 (we were 1-3 in those games, after all). Meanwhile the rest of the resume is essentially blank.

I think Minn is overrated and FSU underrated but that's not really the point; the point, as stated, is how bad the other teams are. I agree that four game slate is solid.
